Pengaruh Motivasi terhadap Niat Bergabung ke Koperasi Desa Merah Putih pada Anggota Gabungan Kelompok Tani Sidomulyo Kapanewon Godean Sleman

Instruksi Presiden Nomor 9 Tahun 2025 tentang Percepatan Pembentukan Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (KDMP) menetapkan GAPOKTAN Sidomulyo, Kapanewon Godean, Kabupaten Sleman, sebagai lokasi percontohan nasional karena memiliki kapasitas kelembagaan yang kuat. Namun, kesiapan tersebut belum diikuti oleh tingginya partisipasi anggota untuk bergabung dengan KDMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi intrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap niat bergabung anggota melalui dimensi Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), yaitu attitude, subjective norms, dan perceived behavioral control (PBC), dengan mengintegrasikan Self-Determination Theory (SDT) dan TPB. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan desain survei cross sectional. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas 227 anggota aktif dari sembilan kelompok tani dan Kelompok Wanita Tani yang belum bergabung dengan KDMP. Sebanyak 100 responden dipilih menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM) dengan prosedur bootstrapping. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model mampu menjelaskan 58,9 persen variasi niat bergabung dan seluruh hipotesis didukung secara statistik. Motivasi intrinsik memberikan pengaruh total terbesar terhadap niat bergabung, terutama melalui attitude sebagai mediator utama, kemudian melalui PBC. Sebaliknya, motivasi ekstrinsik berpengaruh positif melalui PBC dan subjective norms, tetapi dengan pengaruh yang lebih kecil. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa keputusan anggota untuk bergabung lebih dipengaruhi oleh penilaian terhadap manfaat KDMP daripada tekanan sosial atau insentif eksternal. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan partisipasi anggota perlu difokuskan pada penguatan sikap positif, peningkatan kepercayaan terhadap kelembagaan, dan komunikasi manfaat KDMP secara lebih konkret.

Presidential Instruction Number 9 of 2025 on the Acceleration of the Establishment of Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (KDMP) designated GAPOKTAN Sidomulyo (Farmer Group Association) in Godean District, Sleman Regency, as a national pilot site because of its strong institutional capacity. However, this institutional readiness has not been accompanied by high member participation in joining KDMP. This study aimed to analyze the effects of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on members' Intention to join KDMP through the dimensions of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), namely attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control (PBC), by integrating Self Determination Theory (SDT) and TPB. This study employed a quantitative explanatory approach using a cross sectional survey design. The study population consisted of 227 active members from nine farmer groups  who had not yet joined KDMP. A total of 100 respondents were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM) with a bootstrapping procedure. The results showed that the model explained 58.9 percent of the variance in members' Intention to join, and all hypotheses were statistically supported. Intrinsic motivation had the strongest total effect on Intention to join, primarily through attitude as the main mediating variable, followed by perceived behavioral control. In contrast, extrinsic motivation positively influenced Intention through perceived behavioral control and subjective norms, although its total effect was smaller. These findings indicate that members' decisions to join KDMP are driven more by their personal evaluation of its benefits than by social pressure or external incentives. Therefore, efforts to increase member participation should focus on strengthening positive attitudes, enhancing institutional trust, and communicating the benefits of KDMP more effectively.
