Kantor Pusat Tata Usaha Fakultas Teknik UGM (KPTU FT UGM) merupakan pusat kegiatan administrasi di lingkungan Fakultas Teknik UGM. Sebagai pusat kegiatan administrasi, KPTU FT UGM bertanggung jawab atas seluruh kegiatan administrasi di Fakultas Teknik UGM. Keterbatasan sumber daya yang dimiliki serta ditambah dengan mobilitas pejabat Dekanat yang tinggi mengakibatkan sering terjadi keterlambatan pekerjaan administrasi di KPTU FT UGM. Sistem Electronic Office Management System (EOMS) KPTU FT UGM dibangun untuk memudahkan pekerjaan administrasi di KPTU FT UGM. Fitur utama sistem EOMS berfungsi untuk membantu pekerjaan pejabat di lingkungan KPTU FT UGM yang berhubungan dengan kegiatan koordinasi, komunikasi, dan penyampaian informasi antar pejabat di KPTU FT UGM. Sistem EOMS di KPTU FT UGM dirancang berbasis web, sehingga dapat digunakan di jaringan lokal (LAN) Fakultas Teknik UGM dan Internet. Tools yang digunakan adalah PHP sebagai server side scripting, HTML sebagai client side scripting, MySQL sebagai Database Management System, serta Apache sebagai web server. Sistem ini belum diuji secara massal, oleh karena itu adalah penting untuk melakukan uji coba dan memberikan kuesioner kepada pengguna demi tercapainya sistem yang optimal.

The Central Office of Administration of Engineering Faculty of Gadjah Mada University (KPTU FT UGM) is the center for administration activities in the area of Engineering Faculty of UGM. As the center for administration activities, KPTU FT UGM is responsible for the whole administration activities at the Engineering Faculty of UGM. The limitation of available resource and the high mobility of Dean staffs often result in the lateness of administration work at the KPTU FT UGM. The Electronic Office Management System (EOMS) of KPTU FT UGM has been built to facilitate the administration work at the KPTU FT UGM. The main features of EOMS function to support the implementation of administration work related to coordination, communication, and information delivery among the staffs at the KPTU FT UGM. EOMS at the KPTU FT UGM is a web-based design that employs LAN at the Engineering Faculty of UGM and Internet. The tools used in this system are PHP as the server side scripting, HTML as the client side scripting, MySQL as Database Management System, and Apache as the web server. The system has not been tested in a massive way and for this reason it is necessary to explore the system and distributing questionnaires among the users in order to realize an optimal system.
