Episode HAP pada anak dengan LLA berkaitan dengan beban klinis yang lebih berat dibandingkan episode CAP. Supresi sumsum tulang yang berat, yang tercermin dari neutropenia berat, merupakan determinan klinis independen utama terjadinya HAP pada populasi ini.
