Pola akumulasi dan karakteristik sedimen di perairan Delta Bodri, Kabupaten Kendal, Jawa Tengah

Permasalahan penelitian adalah : (1) pola akumulasi sedimen delta yang terjadi di delta Sungai Bodri (2) karakteristik sedimen seperti apa penyusun delta Sungai Bodri, dan (3) faktor oseanografi apa yang dominan berpengaruh terhadap pola akumulasi sedimen di perairan delta Sungai Bodri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : menganalisis pola akumulasi dan karakteristik sedimen delta Sungai Bodri, serta menentukan faktor oseanografi yang dominan pada akumulasi sedimen delta Sungai Bodri pada saat sekarang. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah : untuk menambah kajian masalah akumulasi sedimen dan karakteristik sedimen delta Sungai Bodri, serta untuk bahan informasi dan pertimbangan dalam pengembangan wilayah perairan pantai delta Sungai Bodri. Cara penelitian diawali dengan pengukuran di lapangan meliputi : pengukuran pasang surut, batimetri, pengukuran arus, gelombang dan pengambilan sempel sedimen di setiap lokasi pengambilan sampel. Analisis studio meliputi semua data yang telah diambil pada waktu pengukuran lapangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif berdasar data faktual yang ada di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa debit sungai Bodri 11,3315 m3/detik dengan debit sedimen sebesar 0,0835 kg/detik. Ketinggian air pasang terendah 37cm , tinggi air pasang tertinggi 98 cm, dengan rata-rata tinggi muka air laut (MSL) 58,65 cm. Kedalaman perairan berkisar antara (-11) cm sampai (-111) cm di bawah permukaan air laut rata. Kecepatan arus berkisar antara (0,05 – 1,42) m/detik dengan arah arus berkisar antara Utara (210 – 267)° Timur. Sedangkan tinggi gelombang berkisar antara (0,008 – 1,5) m dengan arah berkisar antara Utara (200 – 318)° Timur. Pola morfologi perairan delta sungai Bodri menjorok ke arah laut dan ke arah kanan kiri muara sungai menyebar hampir sejajar dengan garis pantai. Penyebaran sedimen pada bagian muara berukuran halus berupa lanau pasiran, sedangkan ke arah luar berupa pasir lanauan sampai pasir, sedangkan penyusun gosong berupa sedimen pasir. Pola akumulasi sedimen di perairan delta Sungai Bodri disebabkan oleh energi gelombang.

The problems of research are (1) the accummulatin pattern of delta’s sediment occured in Bodri river delta, (2) sediment characteristics that composed of Bodri river’s delta, and (3) dominant oceanographic factor’s that influence to the accummulation pattern of sediment in the Bodri River’s Delta. The aimed of the research : (1) to analyzed sediment accummulation patterns, and characteristic of the Bodri river’s delta, (2) as well as to defined the dominant oceanographic factors to the accummulation pattern of the Bodri river’s delta. The usefulness of this research are : (1) to make broader about sediment accummulation pattern of Bodri river’s delta, (2) as well as giving considered of developing coastal area of Bodri river’s delta. The technich of this research is began by field measuring such : tidal, bathymetry, currents, wavw, as well as sediment sample collection at every location sitted. Laboratorium analysys include of the whole data collected during field measurement. The descriptive methods in this survey ia based on existing factual data in fields. The results of the research indicated thaBodri river’s descharge is 11.3315 m3/sec, while the sediment descharge is 0.0835 kg/sec., the hight of lowest tides 37 cm., while the hight of highest tides is 98 cm., with sea water level average (MSL) is 58.65 cm. The depth of subsurface waters (-11) cm. to (–111) cm. The velocity of currents between 0.15 m/sec. to 0.68 m/sec., with currents direction between North 210° East to North 267° East.The height of wave 0.08 m to 1.5 m, with wave direction between North 200° East to North 318° East. The subsurface morphology of Bodri river’s delta’s is trend to sea direction and spread out to left and right the river mouth are distributed about paralel to the shoreline. The sediment distribution at the Bodri river’s delta in the mouth has fine texture (sandy loam), mean while out of river mouth of the sea the sediment size become coareser (lommy sand to sand), where sand bar occured the accummulation pattern of sediment at the Bodri river’s delta mainly wave energy.
