Kemoterapi dapat menimbulkan kecemasan yang berpotensi menurunkan kualitas hidup pasien kanker. Pasien kanker kelompok remaja dan dewasa muda (15–39 tahun) berisiko mengalami kecemasan. Biblioterapi merupakan intervensi nonfarmakologis yang berpotensi menurunkan kecemasan, tetapi penelitian pada kelompok usia ini masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh biblioterapi terhadap kecemasan pasien kanker kelompok usia remaja dan dewasa muda.

Chemotherapy can cause anxiety that may reduce the quality of life for cancer patients. Cancer patients in the adolescent and young adult age group(15–39 years) are at risk of experiencing anxiety. Bibliotherapy is a nonpharmacological intervention that has the potential to reduce anxiety, but research on this age group remains limited. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effect of bibliotherapy on anxiety in cancer patients in the adolescent and young adult (AYA) age group.
