Pengaruh pasta gigi yang mengandung enzim Amiloglukosidase dan glukose-oksidase terhadap status gingivitis pemakai alat ortodontik cekat

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pasta gigi yang mengandung enzim amiloglukosidase dan glukose-oksidase pada pemakai alat ortodontik cekat metode begg.. Subjek Penelitian adalah 30 orang pemakai alat cekat metode Begg yang menderita gingivitis. Setelah 3 minggu pemakaian alat cekat subjek dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok masing –masing 15 orang.Kelompok I memakai pasta gigi yang mengandung enzim kelompok II memakai pasta plasebo. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan alat periodontal probe dengan kriteria gingivitis Loe dan Silness sebelum dan setelah pemakaian pasta gigi selama 2 minggu.Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan angka satus gingivitis awal dan akhir dilakukan uji t. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan kelompok pemakai pasta gigi yang mengandung enzim amiloglukosidase dan glukose-oksidase mengalami penurunan gingivitis yang lebih besar daripada pasta gigi plasebo dan terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna(p<0,05). Pasta gigi dengan enzim amiloglukosidase dan glukose-oksidase dapat menurunkan status gingivitis pasien ortodontik cekat.

The objective of this study was to observed the influence of Amiloglucosidase and Glucose-ocsidase toothpaste in Begg method fixed appliance patients. Patient gingivitis state was observed since applied until determined time. The subjects were patients who were applied Begg method fixed appliance. from all patients, 30 patients who suffered gingivitis were selected. They divided in 2 groups, one group was patients with amiloglucosidase and glucose-ocsidase enzymes tooth paste and other with placebo.Early gingivitis state was measured followed used tooth paste for 2 weeks. And then result gingivitis state was measured. The measurement used periodontal probe , result of measurement were matched with gingivitis criteria (Loe and Silness). T test was used determine decrease of gingivitis state . The result showed mean of early gingivitis state and result .Gingivitis state of patiens with enzymes tooth paste group more decrease than placebo group and statistically significant. (P<0,05). The toothpaste containing amyloglukosidase and gukose-Ocsidase enzymes can reduce on patiens with fixed appliance.
