Periodic assessment of long-span steel arch bridges is essential to ensure structural safety, reliability, and long-term serviceability. This study presents the further development of a Python-based software application with a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that serves as a comprehensive framework for modal parameter identification using Operational Modal Analysis (OMA). The development focuses on refining the analytical algorithms, integrating processing modules, and improving computational efficiency to support the complete workflow for processing operational vibration acceleration data from the Mahulu Bridge in Samarinda, Indonesia. The identified modal parameters are subsequently employed as the basis for Finite Element Model (FEM) calibration, modal updating, and evaluation of the bridge's dynamic characteristics using MIDAS Civil. Processing of the 2026 load test data successfully extracted three dominant vertical vibration modes with stable and consistent results. The Enhanced Frequency Domain Decomposition (EFDD) and Frequency Spatial Domain Decomposition (FSDD) methods produced highly consistent estimates of the natural frequencies, particularly for the first vertical mode, yielding a frequency of 0.987 Hz with a Modal Assurance Criterion (MAC) value exceeding 0.99. The identified modal parameters revealed a reduction in the natural frequency compared with historical load test results from 2009 and 2022, both of which consistently recorded a value of 1.00 Hz. Through modal updating under a constant-mass assumption, this reduction in dynamic characteristics was found to correspond to an effective 5% reduction in the steel elastic modulus, resulting in a calibrated modulus of 190 GPa. The updated numerical model achieved excellent agreement with the measured first mode, with a relative error of only 0.10%. The integration of the enhanced OMA software framework and FEM modeling demonstrates a reliable and efficient approach for supporting Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and evaluating the structural performance of long-span steel arch bridges.
