Academic studies on omnichannel marketing have long been dominated by managerial perspectives that read the phenomenon merely as a technical strategy for channel integration. Yet beneath its technical architecture lies a deeper philosophical dimension: omnichannel does not simply deliver messages, but shapes the way human beings experience digital consumption reality. This gap in perspective forms the departure point of this research.

This research aims to examine omnichannel marketing as a phenomenon within the philosophy of communication, taking Sociolla's phygital ecosystem as its material object. The method employed is philosophical hermeneutics through a library research approach, encompassing description, interpretation, and critical reflection.

The research finds three conclusions. First, omnichannel constitutes a medium in the McLuhan sense, it is the structure of the medium, not the content of its messages, that actively shapes consumers' digital lived experience. Second, omnichannel operates as extensions of man that expand consumers' senses, cognition, and identity, yet carry the paradox of self-amputation wherein consumer identity is gradually constructed by the medium. Third, omnichannel architectures a global village of consumption that drives digital re-tribalization and a condition of eternal present without clear temporal boundaries. Omnichannel marketing in McLuhan's perspective is a fundamental transformation in the way human beings exist as subjects living within and through digital media.
