Dosis NPK 150 g/perdu menghasilkan produktivitas kering tertinggi, yaitu 3,03 ton/ha/tahun.
Tea (Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Kuntze) is one of the important plantation commodities that contributes significantly to the supply of industrial raw materials, employment generation, and foreign exchange earnings. To achieve optimal tea production, the implementation of appropriate cultivation practices is essential, including pruning and fertilization. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of NPK fertilization on the physiological characteristics, growth, and yield of tea plants and to determine the optimum NPK dosage for several tea genotypes in the first year after pruning. The research was conducted from November 2025 to March 2026 at Pagilaran Estate, Pagilaran Production Unit, PT. Pagilaran, Batang Regency, Central Java. The experiment employed a two-factor split-split plot design with three blocks as replications. The main plot consisted of plucking time, namely the first plucking (55 days after NPK fertilizer application) and the second plucking (110 days after NPK fertilizer application). The sub-plot consisted of tea genotypes, namely Gambung 7 clone, TRI 2025, and seedling plants in the first pruning year. The sub-sub-plot consisted of NPK fertilization rates of 0 g/bush, 50 g/bush, 100 g/bush, and 150 g/bush. A total of 36 treatment combinations were evaluated. The results showed that the Gambung 7 clone exhibited the best performance during the second plucking, producing the highest number of pekoe shoots, pekoe shoot weight, percentage of dry weight of pekoe shoots, and dry yield compared with the other genotypes. In contrast, TRI 2025 produced a higher proportion of banjhi shoots. The highest dry yield was achieved by Gambung 7 at 2,65 t/ha/year, followed by TRI 2025 at 2,57 t/ha/year and the seedling genotype at 2,45 t/ha/year. The application of 150 g NPK per bush resulted in the highest dry yield, reaching 3,03 t/ha/year.
