The topgenic peatland of the Dieng Plateau is a peatland formed in the crater of Mount Dieng ini the past. This type of peat is rich in minerals and has different chemical charateristics from ombrogenous peat. This study aims to examine the content of humic acid, fulvic acid, and humin, and its relationship to the chemical and physical properties of the topogenic peat soil of the Dieng Plateau. Sampling was conducted in Batur District, Banjarnegara Regency using the line transect method with three sample points and sampling in layers every 50 cm depth. Laboratory analysis include determination of humic and fulvic content using the spectrophotometric extraction method, humin content using a muffle furnance, and measurement of organic carbon, total nitrogen, pH H2O, pH KCl, ash content, and volume weight. The result showed that the humin fraction dominated the humic compound content with a range of 6,77-53,71%, followed by humic acid 1,09-6,55%, and fulvic acid 0,16-2,98%. The high humin content indicates that the humification process has progressed further under anarobic conditions. Humic acid showed a strong positive correlation with organic carbon (r = 0,61), while humin had a very strong correlation with organic carbon (r = 0,97). Conversely, both fractions were negatively correlated with ash content and bulk density. Fulvic acid had a relatively weak relationship with all parameters.
