kecepatan putar (speed droop).
sebesar 26 × 10?4 m. Sistem kendali PID berhasil memangkas settling time secara
Sementara
7.83% menjadi 0.63%, serta mempercepat rise time menjadi 1.289 detik. Integrasi model
The swing system of the 20-ton excavator plays a vital role in the operational cycle of material handling. However, this hydraulic system frequently encounters component degradation, specifically internal leakage within the swing motor due to component wear, leading to a reduction in fluid flow and a drop in rotational speed. This study aims to develop a Digital Twin model of the axial piston pump and swing motor hydraulic system using MATLAB/Sismcape, and to design a Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control system to performance. The internal leakage fault was induced through a parallel bypass valve installation on the swing motor subsystem.
The results demonstrate that the developed Digital Twin model represents the physical system accurately, achieving a swing speed of 12.4 RPM under normal conditions. The implementation of the PID controller proved highly effective in compensating for internal leakage across various fault levels. At a leakage of 26 × 10?4 m, the PID control system successfully reduced the settling time significantly from 4.397 seconds to 2.661 seconds, drastically suppressed the maximum overshoot from 8.18% to 0.75%, and accelerated the rise time to 1.3337 seconds. Meanwhile, at a leakage of 50 × 10?4 m, the PID controller shortened the settling time from 4.3734 seconds to 2.6127 seconds, reduced the maximum overshoot from 7.83% to 0.63%, and accelerated the rise time to 1.289 seconds. The integration of the Digital Twin model and PID control underscores the potential for optimized predictive maintenance and self-compensation capabilities in heavy equipment hydraulic systems.
