Stamping lines in the manufacturing industry play a crucial role in determining production productivity, which is measured by the Gross Strokes Per Hour (GSPH) parameter. Common issues indicate that actual GSPH values remain below company standards due to high downtime during die changeover processes. This study aims to design a roller conveyor as an aid to support the die changeover process and to analyze the structural strength of the design. The methods employed include literature review, field observation (genba), and design using SolidWorks software. Structural strength analysis was conducted using the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method to determine the Von Mises stress, displacement, and safety factor values. The design results show that the roller conveyor system consists of three fixed conveyors and four trolley conveyors tailored to the conditions of the stamping line. Analysis results for the fixed conveyors show a maximum stress of 55,23 MPa, a displacement of 0,9032 mm, and a minimum safety factor of 3,049. Meanwhile, for the trolley conveyors, a maximum stress of 186,9 MPa, a displacement of 1,335 mm, and a minimum safety factor of 2,056 were obtained. All analysis results indicate that the stresses occurring remain below the material’s yield strength and have a safety factor above the minimum threshold. Thus, the roller conveyor design is deemed safe and has the potential to reduce downtime, thereby supporting increased efficiency and productivity of the stamping line.
