Analisis Resepsi Lansia terhadap Poster Kesehatan : Studi dan Analisis Berdasarkan Latar Belakang Ekonomi

Kesehatan merupakan hal yang tidak bisa lepas dari kehidupan masyarakat. Sebagai bentuk upaya pemeliharaan kesehatan, fasilitator kesehatan mempromosikan pesan-pesan kesehatan masyarakat melalui berbagai media, salah satunya poster dengan model upaya kesehatan yang berbeda-beda. Lanjut Usia (Lansia) merupakan bagian dari kelompok masyarakat yang rentan menghadapi masalah kesehatan di Indonesia. Data menunjukkan bahwa salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi pandangan lansia terhadap dunia kesehatan adalah faktor ekonomi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis resepsi Stuart Hall yang bertujuan untuk menggali resepsi atau pemaknaan lansia terhadap dua jenis bingkai strategi pesan, yaitu bingkai promotif (manfaat aktivitas fisik) dan bingkai preventif (pengendalian hipertensi). Pesan kesehatan disampaikan melalui media poster. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari lima lansia dengan latar belakang ekonomi berkecukupan dan lima lansia dengan latar belakang ekonomi berkekurangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode wawancara mendalam. Hasil wawancara  dianalisis menggunakan struktur model encoding-decoding Stuart Hall untuk memahami posisi resepsi pada informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk poster promotif, sembilan informan berada pada posisi dominan dan satu informan pada posisi negosiasi. Untuk poster preventif, tujuh informan berada pada posisi dominan dan tiga informan pada posisi negosiasi. Melalui analisis posisi serta pola respons beberapa informan lebih lanjut, ditemukan bahwa kesenjangan struktural, utamanya latar belakang ekonomi, sangat berpengaruh terhadap penilaian lansia terhadap pesan poster kesehatan.

Health is an inseparable aspect of life. As part of health maintenance, health facilitators promote public health messages through various media, including posters with different models of health initiatives. The elderly are among the groups most vulnerable to health problems in Indonesia. Data indicate that one of the factors influencing the elderly's perspective on health is economic status. This study employs a qualitative research method using Stuart Hall's reception analysis approach, aiming to explore the elderly's reception or interpretation of two types of message framing strategies: the promotive frame (benefits of physical activity) and the preventive frame (hypertension control). Health messages were delivered through poster media. The informants in this study consisted of five elderly individuals from economically well-off backgrounds and five elderly individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Data were collected through in-depth interviews. The interview results were analyzed using Stuart Hall's encoding-decoding model structure to determine the reception positions among informants. The findings show that for the promotive poster, nine informants were positioned in the dominant-hegemonic position and one informant in the negotiated position. For the preventive poster, seven informants were in the dominant-hegemonic position and three informants in the negotiated position. Through further analysis of position and response patterns among several informants, it was found that structural disparities, particularly economic background, significantly influence the elderly's assessment of health poster messages.
