Over the past two decades, global organic agriculture has experienced significant growth. More people are growing food without using chemicals. By the year 2023 there were 98.9 million hectares of land being used for organic farming. There were also around 4.3 million farmers around the world. Even though organic farming is growing there are some differences in how it is growing in developed and developing countries. This study looks at how organic farming's enlarging and what things are helping it to grow. The study looked at seven countries: Indonesia, Australia, India, Uganda, Uruguay, the United States and France. The study used data from the year 2000 to 2023. The researchers used a quantitative descriptive approach to see how the amount of organic farmland and the number of organic farmers were changing over time with trend analysis. This research also looked at how things like the country economy, pesticide use and support for farming affected the amount of farmland with data panel regression method. Trend analysis shows developed countries (USA, France, Australia) are fitted into quadratic growth patterns, while developing countries (Indonesia, India, Uganda, Uruguay) follow more volatile cubic trends. The data panel regression shows GDP per capita positively and significantly affecting organic farmland growth, while pesticide use and agriculture orientation index show insignificant effect, suggesting complex and country- specific development pathways.
