Kesesuaian Fungsi dan Model Arsitektur Pohon di Ruang Terbuka Hijau RSUP Dr. Sardjito, Yogyakarta

RSUP Dr. Sardjito merupakan salah satu rumah sakit rujukan nasional di Yogyakarta dengan intensitas kunjungan yang tinggi. Tingginya tingkat aktivitas tersebut menuntut tersedianya lingkungan rumah sakit yang aman dan nyaman bagi pengunjung maupun pengguna kawasan. Salah satu elemen penting dalam mendukung kenyamanan tersebut adalah keberadaan ruang terbuka hijau (RTH). Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan dan pemantauan kesehatan pohon pada RTH di rumah sakit menjadi aspek penting untuk memastikan fungsi RTH dapat berjalan optimal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi jenis, kesesuaian fungsi, dan kesehatan pohon di RSUP Dr. Sardjito.

Penelitian dilakukan di RSUP Dr. Sardjito dari bulan Februari hingga April 2026. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan prosedur penelitian meliputi eksplorasi kawasan, inventarisasi, analisis kesesuaian fungsi dan kesehatan pohon, serta penyusunan rekomendasi.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kawasan RSUP Dr. Sardjito terdapat 452 individu pohon yang terdiri dari 45 jenis pohon dari 24 famili. Dari 45 jenis tersebut, 44 jenis pohon terbagi ke dalam 12 model arsitektur pohon dan satu jenis dalam bentuk bonsai. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kesesuaian fungsi pohon, sebagian besar jenis pohon telah sesuai dengan fungsinya. Berdasarkan evaluasi kesehatan pohon, dari 452 individu yang ditemukan, 410 dalam kondisi normal, 40 dalam kondisi siaga, dan 2 dalam kondisi darurat.

RSUP Dr. Sardjito is one of the referral hospitals in Yogyakarta with a high volume of visitors. This high level of activity requires a safe and comfortable hospital environment for both visitors and users of the premises. One key element in supporting this comfort is the presence of green open space. Therefore, the management and monitoring of tree health in the hospital’s green open spaces are crucial to ensuring these spaces function optimally. This study was conducted to determine the species composition, functional suitability, and health of trees at RSUP Dr. Sardjito.

The study was conducted at RSUP Dr. Sardjito from February to April 2026. A qualitative descriptive method was used, with research procedures including site exploration, inventory, analysis of functional suitability and tree health, and the formulation of recommendations.

The result showed that within the RSUP Dr. Sardjito, there were 452 trees comprising 45 species from 24 families. Of these 45 species, 44 are classified into 12 tree architecture types, and one species is in the form of a bonsai. Based on the evaluation of tree functional suitability, the majority of tree species are suitable for their intended function. Based on the tree health evaluation, 410 trees are in normal condition, 40 trees are in a state alert, and 2 trees are in an emergency condition.
