This study aims to examine the effect of the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non-Performing Loan (NPL), and Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) on profitability (Return on Assets/ROA) in regional development banks (BPD) in Indonesia for the 2022-2024 period. The population of this study comprises all BPDs in Indonesia, while the sample focuses on non-public BPDs selected using the purposive sampling method, obtaining 24 BPDs with a total of 72 observations. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of partial testing show that LDR has a positive and significant effect on ROA. Conversely, NPL and BOPO are proven to have a negative and significant effect on ROA. Simultaneously, all three independent variables have a significant effect on ROA. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) value of 0.905 indicates that 90.5% of the variation in profitability (ROA) can be explained by the LDR, NPL, and BOPO variables.
