bertenaga motor BLDC 4 kW.
ASTM A36 (250 MPa). Deformasi total maksimum yang terjadi sangat kecil yaitu
sebesar 0,076 mm. Nilai faktor keamanan (Factor of Safety) minimum yang
Indonesia as an agrarian country has a high dependence
on agricultural machinery (alsintan). However, the majority of these tractors
still rely on fossil-fueled diesel engines, contributing significantly to
greenhouse gas emissions and high operational costs. This study aims to design
the layout of an electric drive system components and analyze the structural
strength of the supporting brackets and base plate during the conversion
process of a conventional tractor into an electric tractor powered by a 4 kW
BLDC motor. The designed electrical system integrates a 72V 60Ah LiFePO4
battery, a 4 kW 3-Phase BLDC electric motor, and a controller. Geometric
modeling was conducted using SolidWorks 2023 software, while the structural
strength analysis was evaluated through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in ANSYS
software under static loading conditions. The simulation results indicated that
the integration of the components with a total system weight of 84 kg generated
a maximum von Mises stress of 17.804 MPa located at the front support point of
the base plate, which is well below the yield strength of the ASTM A36 material
(250 MPa). The maximum total deformation that occurred was minimal at 0.076 mm.
The minimum Factor of Safety (FoS) obtained was 9.2888, which proves that the
modified chassis and bracket design is highly secure and robust for
agricultural terrain operations.
