Fancy pigeons are valued for their aesthetic and economic significance; however, their health is often compromised by gastrointestinal nematode infections, which negatively affect physical performance and feather quality. This study investigated the prevalence of nematodiasis, characterized egg morphology, assessed infection severity, and analyzed associated risk factors in fancy pigeons at the Yogyakarta Animal and Ornamental Plant Market (PASTY). Fifty fecal samples were collected for examination. Qualitative analysis utilized the centrifugation method, and quantitative analysis employed the McMaster technique. Data were analyzed using a descriptive quantitative approach. The findings indicated a high prevalence of infection at 78% (39/50), with Ascaridia columbae and Capillaria sp. identified as the primary parasite species. Most infections were classified as moderate (501–5,000 EPG), representing 61.5% of positive samples (24/39). Risk factor analysis demonstrated a significant correlation (p < 0>
