Teh merupakan komoditas perkebunan yang berperan penting dalam
perekonomian Indonesia. Namun, produktivitasnya mengalami penurunan karena
menurunnya kualitas tanah akibat aplikasi unsur hara tak berimbang.
pemetikan kedua setelah aplikasi awal Bacillus). Anak petak adalah
genotipe teh (Biji, Gambung 7, dan TRI 2025). Anak-anak petak adalah frekuensi
aplikasi Bacillus velezensis (0, 1, 2, dan 3 kali aplikasi/siklus
pemetikan). Pengamatan dilakukan pada variabel kimia tanah, lingkungan,
fisiologis, komponen hasil, dan kualitas teh. Data yang diperoleh lalu diuji
ANOVA, LSD ? = 5%, dan analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
frekuensi aplikasi Bacillus velezensis tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata
terhadap pertumbuhan, kualitas, dan hasil. Namun, genotipe memberikan pengaruh
terhadapnya. Genotipe Gambung 7 memiliki produktivitas yang lebih tinggi
dibandingkan TRI 2025 dan biji. Frekuensi aplikasi 1 kali/siklus petik memiliki
produktivitas lebih tinggi meskipun tidak berbeda nyata dengan frekuensi
lainnya.
Tea
is an agricultural commodity that plays a vital role in Indonesia’s economy.
However, its productivity has declined due to deteriorating soil quality
resulting from the unbalanced application of nutrients. Therefore, efforts are
needed to improve soil quality through the application of Bacillus
velezensis. This study aims to determine the morphophysiological response
and quality of several tea genotypes to various application frequencies of Bacillus
velezensis and to identify the optimal application frequency. The study was
conducted from November 2025 to March 2026 at PT Pagilaran. The experiment was
designed using a two-factor split-split-plot randomized complete block design
with three replications. The main plot was harvest time (first harvest and
second harvest after the initial application of Bacillus). The subplot
was tea genotype (Biji, Gambung 7, and TRI 2025). The sub-subplots were the
application frequency of Bacillus velezensis (0, 1, 2, and 3
applications/harvest cycle). Observations were conducted on soil chemistry,
environmental factors, physiological variables, yield components, and tea
quality. The data obtained were then analyzed using ANOVA, LSD (? = 5%), and
correlation analysis. The results showed that the frequency of Bacillus
velezensis application had no significant effect on growth, quality, and
yield. However, genotype did have an effect on these factors. The Gambung 7
genotype exhibited higher productivity compared to TRI 2025 and the seedling.
An application frequency of once per harvest cycle resulted in higher
productivity, although it was not significantly different from other
application frequencies.
