Kinerja produksi Sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO) dan Sapi Bali di Propinsi Gorontalo

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja produksi sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO) dan sapi Bali di Propinsi Gorontalo. Materi penelitian adalah sapi PO dan Bali milik peternak di kabupaten sampel dan sapi Bali di Rumah Potong Hewan, menggunakan metode survei dan pengamatan langsung. Variabel yang diamati pada sapi milik responden adalah pertambahan bobot badan harian (PBBH) dan hubungan antara bobot badan dan ukuran tubuh, terhadap sapi Bali di RPH yaitu hubungan antara bobot badan dan bobot karkas. Perbedaan PBBH kedua bangsa sapi dianalisis dengan analisis kovariansi. Hubungan ukuran tubuh dan bobot badan dianalisis mengunakan regresi linear berganda, antara bobot badan dengan bobot karkas menggunakan regresi linear sederhana.. Estimasi bobot badan dengan rumus Lambourne dan Djagra. Hasil penelitian PBBH sapi PO dan Bali pedet jantan berbeda sangat nyata yaitu 0,42±0,03 kg/ekor/hari dan 0,54±0,10 kg/ekor/hari, betina 0,42±0,08 kg/ekor/hari dan 0,52±0,12 kg/ekor/hari, Sapi muda jantan berbeda tidak nyata yaitu 0,39±0,05 kg/ekor/hari dan 0,44 ± 0,12 kg/ekor/hari, betina berbeda tidak nyata yaitu 0,38 ± 0,07 kg/ekor/hari dan 0,41±0,13 kg/ekor/hari. dewasa jantan berbeda sangat nyata yaitu 0,19±0,12 kg/ekor/hari dan 0,11±0,17 kg/ekor/hari, betina berbeda sangat nyata yaitu 0,18±0,10 kg/ekor/hari dan 0,11±0,16 kg/ekor/hari. Hubungan ukuran tubuh dan bobot badan sapi PO mengikuti persamaan regresi masing-masing pedet jantan dan betina Y=-43,44+1,35X1 (R2=0,74) dan Y=-80,18+0,52X1 +0,69X2+5,57X3- 5,14X4 (R2=0,89), Sapi muda jantan dan betina masing-masing Y=- 250,02+4,32X2 (R2=0,75) dan Y=-593,23+4,05X1+0,69X2+5,57X3-7,04X4 (R2=0,78), Sapi dewasa jantan dan betina masing-masing Y=-43,44+1,35X1 (R2=0,67) dan Y=-612,94+3,45X1+3,07X4 (R2=0,77). Sapi Bali ; pedet jantan Y=- 53,39+1,42X1 (R2=0,78), betina Y=61,02+1,45X1 (R2=0,88). Sapi muda jantan dan betina masing-masing Y=341,33+2,76X1+1,17X2 (R2=0,80) dan Y=- 268,14+1,89X1+0,51X2+1,29X4 (R2=0,58). Sapi dewasa jantan dan betina masingmasingY=- 436,69+2,30X1+3,04X2(R2=0,61)danY=-3,85+3,11X1+1,07X2, (R2=0,65). Estimasi bobot badan dengan rumus Lambourne, membutuhkan faktor koreksi jantan 5,38% dan betina -3,31%, rumus Djagra pada jantan faktor koreksi 7,37% dan betina -1,43%. Hubungan bobot karkas dengan bobot badan sapi Bali di RPH mengikuti persamaan regresi jantan Y=3,95+0,53X (R2=0,89) dan betinaY= -3,76+0,57X (R2 = 0,98).

The objective of this research was to study the performance of Ongole Crossbreed cattle and Bali Cattle in Gorontalo Province. Ongole Crossbreed and Bali cattle owned by the farmers were used in this research, and Bali cattle were in Abattoir. Variables measured of farmer’s cattle consisted of : average daily gain (ADG) and the relationship between bodylife weight and measurements of body size. Furthermore, variable measured of Bali Cattle in abattoir was the relationship between the bodylife weight and the carcass weight. Analysis of Covariance was used to analyze the ADG differences betwen breeds. The multiple regresison was used to analyze the relationship between body size measurement and bodylife weight.Was used multiple regression, and the to simple regresison was used to analyze the relationship between bodylife weight and carcas weight. The results of study showed that the average daily gain of male Ongole Crossbreed cattle and male Bali calf was 0.42±0.03 kg/head/day, 0.5±0.10 kg/head/day and the female was 0.42 ±0.08 kg/ head/day, 0.52±0.12 kg/head/day respectively. They showed highly significant differencess. The Ongole Crossbreed cattle and bull Bali Cattle was 0.39±0.05 kg/head/day, and 0.44±0.12 kg/head/day, the heifer was 0.38±0.07 kg/head/day, and 0.41±0.13 kg/head/day respectively and, showed no significant differences, the adult male was 0.19±0.12 kg/head/day, and 0.11±0.17 kg/head/day, the cow was 0.18± 0.10 kg/head/day and 0,11±0,16 kg/head/day, respectively the correlation between body measures and body weight of Ongole crossbreed cattle by regression analysis, male calf and female calf was Y= -43.44+1.35X1 (R2 =0.74) and Y= -80.18+0.52X1 +0.69X2 +5.57X3 -5.14X4 (R2=0.89). the bull and heifer was Y=-250.02+4.32X2 (R = 0.75) and Y = -593.23+4.05X1+0.69X2+5.57X3-7.04X4 (R=0.78), the male adult and female was Y= -43.44+1.35X1 (R 2 = 0.67) and Y = -612.94+3.45X1 +3.07X4 (R = 0.77), respectively the Bali Cattle by regression analysis, for male calf was Y= - 53.39+1.42X1 (R2= 0.78) and female calf was Y= -61.02+1.45X1 (R2 =0.88), the bull was Y = -341.33+2.76X1+1.17X2 (R2=0.80) and the heifer was Y=-268.14 +1.89X1+0.51X2+1.29X4(R2=0.58), respectively the male adult was Y= 436.69 +2.30X1+3.04X2(R2=0.61), the cow was Y=-353.85+3.11X1+1.07X2(R2=0.65), respectively estimation of body weight by Lambourne formula of male cattle was, the correction factor was 5.38% and female-3.31, while by they Djagra formula for male the correction factor was 7.37% and female-1.43. The result of simple regression analysis between carcass weight and body weight of Bali Cattle for male cattle was Y= 3.95 + 0.53X (R2=0.89) and the female was Y =- 3.76+0.57X(R2= 0,98), respectively.
