Pasundan cattle are one of Indonesia’s local genetic livestock resources originating from West Java Province and exhibit good adaptability to tropical environments, making them potential contributors to sustainable livestock development systems. The optimization of reproductive potential in male cattle is influenced by proper reproductive organ function, one of which is determined by testosterone. Testosterone, synthesized by Leydig cells in the testes, plays an essential role in regulating spermatogenesis, differentiation of secondary sexual characteristics, and libido function. In cryptorchidism, the failure of one or both testes to descend into the scrotum disrupts thermoregulatory mechanisms and increases exposure to testicular temperature, which can impair spermatogenesis and reduce testosterone production, thereby decreasing fertility. This study aims to analyze the histological structure and distribution of testosterone in the testes of normal and cryptorchid Pasundan cattle. Testicular samples from adult normal and cryptorchid Pasundan cattle were obtained from a slaughterhouse in Sumedang, West Java, and processed using Hematoxylin–Eosin staining and testosterone immunohistochemistry. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed that testosterone-immunopositive cells were localized in the cytoplasm of Leydig cells, with stronger intensity and more uniform distribution in normal testes compared to cryptorchid testes. The percentage of immunopositive cells in normal testes is 35.2 ± 3.9%; score ++,  was higher than in cryptorchid testes 1.9 ± 1.4%; score +, with a significant difference (p < 0>
