Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran place attachment pada ruang ketiga terhadap psychological well-being mahasiswa Gen-Z di D.I. Yogyakarta. Dimensi place dependence (? = 0,2927, p < 0>friend bonding (? = 0,2376, p < 0> secara signifikan memprediksi psychological well-being. Yogyakarta untuk meningkatkan psychological well-being.

This study investigated the role of place attachment in third places on the psychological well-being of Gen-Z university students in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Participants were recruited through an online questionnaire distributed to university students who regularly utilize third places (N = 130). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and additional analysis across gender-based subgroups. The results indicated that five dimensions of place attachment namely place identity, nature bonding, place dependence, family bonding, and friend bonding significantly predicted psychological well-being (F(5, 124) = 7.52, p < .05), accounting for 23.3% of the variance (R² = .233). Specifically, the dimensions of place dependence (? = 0.2927, p < .05) and friend bonding (? = 0.2376, p < .05) emerged as significant predictors of psychological well-being. These findings suggest that third place utilization meaningfully contributes to the psychological well-being of university students in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
