Kajian faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi distribusi industri di kota Ketapang

Industri-industri di Kabupaten Ketapang pada dasarnya tersebar di kecamatan-kecamatan yang ada. Akan tetapi jika dilihat lebih jauh, jumlah unit usaha industri paling banyak terkonsentrasi di daerah kota. Kota Ketapang sendiri merupakan daerah yang sedang berkembang dalam bidang industri dalam usahanya untuk meningkatkan pendapatan daerah sekaligus penyediaan lapangan pekerjaan baru yang mampu menyerap tenaga kerja. Perkembangan industri disini terlihat dari distribusinya yang tidak terlepas dari beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhinya berupa faktor lokasi dan faktor produksi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka penelitian ini mengambil judul "Kajian Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Distribusi Industri di Kota Ketapang" dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi industri berikut pola keruangannya berdasarkan skala industri dan cabang industrinya, menganalisa faktor-faktor lokasi yang mempengaruhi konsentrasi distribusi industri, menganalisa faktor-faktor produksi yang berpengaruh terhadap nilai produksi dan membuat hirarki wilayah berdasarkan prioritas pengembangan industri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode Analisa Data Sekunder dengan pemilihan daerah penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan ruang lingkup Kota Ketapang yang terdiri dari 5 kelurahan dan 10 desa yang tersebar dalam 2 kecamatan. Variabel-varibel faktor lokasi yang diteliti untuk konsentrasi distribusi industri meliputi demografi, sosial, ekonomi, penggunaan lahan dan aksesibilitas wilayah. Untuk karakteristik produksi dan nilai produksi terdiri dari jumlah unit usaha, tenaga kerja, nilai investasi dan nilai bahan baku. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah analisa Indeks Konsentrasi dan Distribusi Quotient, analisa korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson, analisa regresi berganda serta scalling dan penghirarkian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum konsentrasi distribusi industri di Kota Ketapang cenderung tersebar merata dengan nilai indeks konsentrasi 59,99. Indeks konsentrasi berdasarkan skala industri yang paling tersebar adalah industri kecil dengan nilai 60,63 dan paling terkonsentrasi adalah industri besar dengan nilai 74,72. Berdasarkan cabang industri yang paling tersebar adalah industri kimia bahan bangunan dengan nilai 50,19 dan yang paling terkonsentrasi adalah industri kerajinan dengan nilai 90,46. Konsentrasi industri terbesar berada di Kelurahan Kantor, ditunjukkan oleh nilai distribusi quotient tertinggi yaitu 9,06. Hal tersebut dikarenakan di kelurahan ini memiliki konsentrasi kegiatan industri yang besar dibandingkan dengan desa/kelurahan lainnya. Konsentrasi distribusi industri ternyata sangat berhubungan kuat dengan faktor lokasi yang meliputi demografi, sosial dan ekonomi. Dari hasil analisa korelasi dapat diketahui bahwa secara umum variabel-variabel faktor lokasi mempunyai hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan konsentrasi distribusi industri, ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi yang cukup tinggi yaitu >0,5 (0,8) dan nilai probabilitas dari faktor-faktor lokasi <0,05 (0,000). Variabel faktor produksi yang sangat kuat mempengaruhi nilai produksi adalah nilai bahan baku. Dari analisa regresi diketahui variabel ini mempunyai nilai probabilitas <0.05. Untuk desa/kelurahan yang memiliki hirarki/prioritas pengembangan industri yang tinggi adalah Kelurahan Kantor, Kelurahan Tengah, Desa Sampit dan Desa Sukaharja karena keempat wilayah ini memiliki faktor-faktor lokasi dan produksi yang tinggi dibandingkan dengan desa/kelurahan lainnya.

Basically, industries at Ketapang Regency dispersed in all districts at this region. Otherwise, the number of industry units are mostly concentrated in city region. Ketapang City is a developing region in industry sector and has effort to increase region revenue and also to supply employment opportunity that can pervade labours. This industry development could be seen from the distribution which can't be seperated from several influence factors, i.e. location and production factors. Based on that, this research titled "The Study of Influence Factors to Industry Distribution at Ketapang City", have purposes to find out industry distribution and its spatial pattern based on industry scale and industry branch, analyse location factors that influence industry distribution concentration, analyse production factors that affects production values, and compose region hierarchy based on industry development priority. This research is done with secondary data analysis method, with the election of research area using purposive sampling method. The coverage area of this research is Ketapang City which consist of 5 sub-districts and 10 villages that spread out at 2 districts. Location factor's variables for industry distribution concentration includes demography, social, economic, land use and area accessibility. Production charateristics and production values comprises of the amount of venture units, labour, investment value, and raw material value. Analysis techniques that used in this research are concentration index analysis and distribution quotient, Pearson's Product Moment correlation analysis, double regression analysis and hierarchy. The result of this research shows industry distribution concentration in Ketapang City generally tends to spread evenly, with concentration index value as 59,99. Based on industry scale. concentration index indicated the most scattered industry scale is small industry (60,63) and the most concentrated is big industry (74,72). Based on industry branch, the most scattered is chemical construction material (50,19) and the most concentrated is handycraft industry (90.46). The highest industry concentration at Kantor Sub-District, indicated by the highest distribution quotient as 9,06. This condition happened because this sub-district has higher industry activity concentration, compare with other villages/sub-districts. Distribution concentration has a strong connection with location factors that comprises of demography. social and economic. From the result of correlation analysis can be figure that location factor variables has positive and sifnificant connection with industry distribution concentration, indicated with high coeficient correlation value as >0.5 (0,8) and probability value from location factors as <0,05 (0,000). Production factor variable that really influences production value is raw materials value. From regression analysis can be figured that this variable has probability value as <0,05. Villages/sub-districts that have high industry development hierarchy or priority are Kantor Sub-District, Tengah Sub-District, Sampit Villages and Sukaharja Villages, because these four areas has higher location and production factors, compare with other villages/sub-districts.
