Peranan Pemerintah Propinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dalam pengendalian tanah kas desa

This research aims to investigate the role of the Yogyakarta Provincial Government in controlling village property land. In addition, it also aims to investigate the status of village property land and ex village property land that has been released. The research is a juridical normative research completed with field research. As a result, the data consisted of secondary and primary data. Secondary data were obtained through library research using document study on legal materials. Primary data were obtained through interview with respondents and resource persons. The data were then analyzed qualitatively. The research results reveal that the Yogyakarta Provincial Government still plays an important role in the monitoring, use, and change of status of village property land. The status of village property land as according to the Act of Land is the rights of use. The village property lands that have been released from their former status are now under the rights of ownership, or the rights of building exploitation according to the regulations in effect.
