Pencapaian organisasi pembelajaran (Learning Organization) dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa program Diploma III Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan di Surakarta

Latar Belakang: Permasalahan berhubungan dengan organisasi pembelajaran fakultas serta prestasi belajar mahasiswa mendorong Program Study (Progdi) Diploma III Fakultas ILmu Kesehatan (FIK) untuk melakukan pengkajian mengenainya. Pengkajian dilakukan berdasarkan konsep sekolah sebagai organisasi pembelajaran menurut Senge (1990) dan Sillins (2002). Tujuan: Mengetahui pencapaian organisasi pembelajaran empat Program Studi di FIK dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa di empat Program Studi FIK, serta hubungan antara keduanya. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan rancangan studi deskriptif dengan subyek penelitian semua staf berstatus pegawai tetap. Organisasi pembelajaran sebagai variabel bebas dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa sebagai variabel terikat. Instrumen penelitian dikembangkan dari indikator sekolah sebagai organisasi pembelajaran milik Silins (2002). Analisa dilakukan dengan analisa deskriptif, uji F (ANOVA) dan Spearman . Hasil: Pencapaian organisasi pembelajaran pada 4 progdi secara signifikan adalah sama. Progdi C memiliki skor organisasi pembelajaran dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa tertinggi sedangkan Progdi A adalah terendah. Semua Progdi unggul dalam karakteristik kepercayaan dan iklim kolaboratif, namun Progdi A lemah dalam pengambilan inisiatif dan resiko, Progdi B dalam pengembangan profesional sedangkan Progdi C dan D dalam membangun dan memonitor misi bersama. Terdapat perbedaan skor pengambilan inisiatif dan resiko antara Progdi C dan D. Organisasi pembelajaran berhubungan dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswanya dengan p-value=0,01. Kesimpulan: Semakin tinggi skor organisasi pembelajaran semakin tinggi pula prestasi belajar mahasiswanya.

Background: The problem relates to the faculty learning organization and the students learning performance that support the Diploma III Program of Health Science in Surakarta to carry out a study about it. The study is carried out based on the school concept as a learning organization according to Senge (1990) and Silins (2002). Objectives: To find out the learning organization performance of four Study Programs of Health Science in Surakarta and the students’ learning performance in the four Study Programs of Health Science in Surakarta, and to find out the relationship between them. Method: The research uses the descriptive study design with the subjects of all staff who have permanent status employees. The learning organization as independent variable and the students’ learning performance as dependent variable. The research instrument is developed from the school indicator and functions as learning organization belonged to Silins year 2002. the analysis is carried out using descriptive analysis, Anova test and Spearman test. Result: The learning organization performance in the four Study Programs of Health Science in Surakarta is significantly similar. Study Program C has the highest score of learning organization and students’’ learning performance and the lowest score is Study Program A. All Study Programs are superior to the characteristics of trusting and collaborative climate, but Study Program A is weak in taking initiative and risk, Study Program B is weak in professional development, while Study Program C and D are weak in shared and mentored mission. There is a score difference in taking initiative and risk between Study Program C and Study Program D. The learning organization of Study Program relates to the students’ learning performance (p-value=0,01). Conclution: The higher score of learning organization, the higher the students’ learning performance will be.
