Industri tenun ikat di desa Troso dapat bertahan hingga saat ini dan mampu menyerap banyak tenagakerja. Faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhinya. Dalam kegiatan produksinya menghasilkan limbah cair yang berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. Bagaimana persepsi masyarakat terhadap dampak limbah cair tersebut. Tujuan penelitian untuk: a.mengetahui tingkat pengaruh dari masing-masing faktor (ada 5 faktor) yang sangat mempengaruhi bertahannya industri tenun ikat yaitu faktor perolehan bahan baku, perolehan tenagakerja terampil, perolehan informasi pasar, dan faktor perlunya dukungan masyarakat setempat terhadap keberadaan industri tenun ikat serta mengetahui pengaruh tradisi setempat terhadap bertahannya industri tenun ikat. b.mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap dampak limbah cair industri tenun ikat. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan survai dengan menggunakan daftar pertanyaan. Analisa data dengan stastistik deskriptif, analisis nilai timbangan, dan tabulasi silang dengan uji independency Chi-kuadrat. Hasil penelitian:a. Faktor yang amat sangat mempengaruhi (peringkat 1) bagi pengusaha dalam mempertahankan usahanya adalah faktor perlunya masyarakat terhadap keberadaan industri tenun ikat. Peringkat 2 yaitu faktor perolehan bahan baku sebagai faktor yang sangat mempengaruhi, peringkat 3 adalah faktor perolehan tenagakerja yang terampil sebagai faktor yang kurang mempengaruhi, peringkat 4 adalah faktor perolehan modal kerja sebagai faktor yang tidak mempengaruhi serta terakhir adalah faktor informasi pasar sebagai faktor yang sangat tidak mempengaruhi bagi pengusaha dalam mempertahankan usahanya pada industri tenun ikat. Selanjutnya pengusaha tenun ikat berpendapat bahwa bertahannya industri tenun ikat tidak dipengaruhi oleh tradisi masyarakat (78,95%). b.masyarakat (95% dari responden) berpendapat bahwa limbah cair industri tenun ikat dapat berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan disekitarnya baik fisik maupun sosial.

Tie Weave Industry in Troso is still able to survive until this very day and is able to accommodate a big number of labors. What are the factors that influence it? In its producing activity it produces potential liquid industry waste to pollute the environment. How is the people's perception towards the impact of the liquid industry waste? The aims of this research are simply to A. perceive the level of influence from each factors (there are 5 factors) which influence the persistence of tie weave industry namely, the raw material, skilled-labor, market information, and the need of the people's support towards the existence of tie weaven industry as well as to view the influence of the local tradition against the persistence of tie weave industry. B. To observe the people's perception towards the impact of tie weave industry liquid waste. The methods used in this research are observation and survey using list of questions. Data analysis uses descriptive statistic, pair of scales analysis, and cross tabulation with chiquadrant independent examination. (The research has come up with the results as follow: A. the main significant factor 15 rank) to influence entrepreneurs in keeping their business is the need of support from the society towards the existence of the tie weave industry. The 2nd rank is the raw material as the most influencing factor. The 3rd rank is the skilled labor as the less influencing factor. The 4th rank is the working capital as the non-influencing factor, and the last is the market information as the most non-influencing for entrepreneurs to keep their business in tie weave industry. Furthermore, the tie weave industry entrepreneurs think that the persistence of tie weave industry is not influenced by tradition (78,95%). B. The people (95% of the respondents) think that the liquid tie weave industry waste is able to give both physically and socially negative impacts towards the local environment.
