Penelitian ini berjudul Kajian Geospasial terhadap Pelayanan Sosial dan Ekonomi di Kabupaten Sleman, Yogyakarta. Studi analisis yang digunakan adalah desa dan kecamatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyajikan daya layan infrastruktur sosial ekonomi dalam bentuk peta, mengetahui pola sebaran infrastruktur sosial ekonomi serta mengetahui faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap persebaran infrastruktur sosial ekonomi. Bahan yang diperlukan dalam penyajian adalah peta dasar yang disadap dari Peta RBI Kabupaten Sleman skala 1: 25.000 tahun 2001 serta Potensi Desa (PODES) DIY tahun 2003 yang diperoleh dari Biro Pusat Statistik. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisa data sekunder, sedangkan untuk mengetahui pola persebaran infrastruktur menggunakan metode Quadrat Analysis dan korelasi Pearson untuk mengetahui keterkaitan antara faktor sosial ekonomi dengan persebaran infrastruktur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa daya layan pendidikan di Kabupaten Sleman sudah cukup baik, begitu pula dengan daya layan ekonomi. Berbeda dengan daya layan kesehatan dan hiburan yang sebagian besar termasuk dalam kelas daya layan sedang. Pola penyebaran semua infrastruktur adalah mengelompok karena dipengaruhi oleh faktor Sumber Daya Alam (SDA) dan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap jumlah infrastruktur adalah jumlah penduduk miskin, sumber penghasilan utama penduduk serta tingkat kerawanan bencana daerah yang bersangkutan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa peta dapat digunakan sebagai sarana analisis dan pengambilan keputusan.

This research is entitled "Geospatial Study of Sicial and Economics Services in Seman Sub Province, Yogyakarta. This research did the study of analysis in district (Kecamatan) and village. The goals of this research are to be able to present the service ability of social economic infrastructures in form of maps, to find out the spatial pattern social economic infrastructures in form of maps and to look for factors that influence the spatial of social economic infrastructures. Materials that are required for presenting the social economic infrastructures such as Base Map that are taken from maps of RBI Sleman Sub-province with the scale of 1: 25.000 in the year of 2001, and potential village (PODES) DIY in the year of 2003 which is gained from Statistical Bureau Center (BPS). The research uses the secondary data analysis method, Quadrat Analysis Methods to know the spatial pattern of social economics infrastructures and Pearson correlation to know the influence social economics factor to infrastructure spatial pattern. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the education, economics and health threshold in Sleman Sub Province are good. It is quite different with the entertainment services that most of them are included in categories of middle service ability. The spatial pattern of education and economic are clustered, but health and entertainment have a random spatial pattern. It caused of Nature Resources (SDA) and Human Resources (SDM),. From this research we can conclude that maps can be used as facilities for analysis and make decisions.
