Spatial preference due to the fulfill of social economic services needs by the population in some region has been shown from the local society orientation in determining location to fulfill the social economic services The economic movements internally in Temanggung District really depends on the growth center that has been completed with vary services facilities. The 1992 RTURD accomplishment had shown that several regions or cities have not been able to achieve the aim of city function as a growth center Generally, the economic development has only been happened in several main roads that extend from Temanggung District, Parakan, Ngadirejo and Candiruto This research has been trying to notify the spatial preference of population movement due to the usage of social economic facilities that has been shown by the orientation of the location determination to fulfill the social economic services by the Temanggung District citizen This research definite spatial preferenze of the usage of social economic services facilities by the Temanggung District population. The purpose of this research is to know the spatial preference of the usage of social economic services facilities and also the factors that influence the location determination of the social economic services facilities usage in Temanggung District Social economic facilities learned in this research are social economic facilities that have regional services. This facility has serve peoples in whole district region. Thus, this study will be able to describe spatially the population movement due to the fulfill of social economic services needs The social economic facilities that learned in this study are hospitals, high schools and market. This study is using the survey research method. The analysis method that being used here are quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative analysis has been used to measure the hospital's services efficiency, high schools and market. On the other hand the qualitative method used to analyze the population movement due to the usage of the social economic facilities in Temanggung District. The research's region including whole of Tanggar Dist the art sample taken by purposive method Each sub district taken one or two villages and for the regions that directly bordered with another district taken about two until three sample villages The result of this research whiches shaped as a mapping of the population movement leading to high schools, hospitals and markets shows different spatial preference. On the fulfill of high schools education need, distance, transportation cost and time to go thorough have great influences to the number of students of high schools Greater distance that the student has from their hometown to the schools the number of students that using the high schools in Temanggung District will become smaller Also if the transportation cost to the schools increase the student flow to the high schools becoming less, so as the time to go thorough much time take to go to school less student will go to high schools in Temanggung District On the fulfill of the health services needs like hospitals, distance, transportation cost and time to go thorough affect to the number of patient on a hospital. Greater distance from patient's beuse to the hospital the number of patients using the service of the hospital will be less. And so as the transportation cost, higher the cost to the hospital the patient flow to the hospital will becoming weak. Same as above longer time took to go to hospital smaller the number of patient will be using the hospital services For the economic services fulfill, spatial preference determined by kind of goods that needed On this research, the population needs that will be learned is the needs with a low rank (low order goods) such as foods and high rank needs (high order goods) such as clothes, electronic and transportation tools
