Conventional dental health education has not been optimal in fostering sustainable oral health behaviors. ASGARD Nusantara is an Augmented Reality (AR)–based dental health education application that presents interactive toothbrushing animations and educational quizzes to support behavior formation. The effectiveness of this application is presumed to be influenced by teacher supervision. This study aimed to examine the effect of teacher supervision on the use of AR-based educational media in improving oral health knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors among mothers and children aged 8–9 years in Nganjuk Regency, East Java. Research Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a control group pretest–posttest approach. The sample consisted of 144 mother–child pairs, divided into an intervention group (78 pairs using ASGARD Nusantara with teacher supervision) and a control group (66 pairs using ASGARD Nusantara without teacher supervision). Oral health knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors were assessed using pretest and posttest questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney test, independent t-test, and General Linear Model (GLM). Results: Teacher supervision had a significant effect on children’s knowledge, mothers’ oral health behaviors, and children’s oral health behaviors (p0.05). Conclusion: Teacher supervision in the use of ASGARD Nusantara educational media is more effective in improving children’s oral health knowledge and the oral health behaviors of both mothers and children, but it does not significantly improve mothers’ knowledge or attitudes, nor children’s attitudes.
