Aktivitas industri tahu di pinggiran kota Yogyakarta dalam pengaruhnya terhadap ekonomi wilayah

Daerah pinggiran kota khususnya Kota Yogyakarta merupakan daerah yang letaknya cukup strategis terutama untuk dikembangkan usaha industri tahu. Hal ini dilihat dari lokasinya yang dekat dengan daerah pertanian (kedelai sebagai bahan-baku utama), dan juga tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam distribusi pemasarannya karena jangkauan aksesibilitas ke kota relatif dekat dan mudah. Seperti halnya yang terjadi pada industri tahu yang berada di dua desa yaitu di daerah pinggiran Kota Yogyakarta sebagai sampel penelitian yaitu Desa Ngestiharjo, Kecamatan Kasihan, Kabupaten Bantul dan Desa Baturetno, Kecamatan Banguntapan, Kabupaten Bantul. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat apakah terdapat perbedaan pengaruh terhadap ekonomi wilayah antara industri tahu di kedua daerah penelitian, terutama dalam hal besarnya nilai produksi, pendapatan, adanya pengaruh penggunaan bahan baku lokal terhadap jumlah pendapatan, adanya pengaruh program pembinaan terhadap jumlah produksi, serta besarnya nilai multiplier effect terhadap tenaga kerja yang terjadi. Adapun metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei, sedangkan pemilihan daerah penelitian dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan pengambilan responden dengan metode sensus. Adapun analisa statistik yang dipergunakan untuk membuktikan hipotesa yaitu dengan teknik independent sample t-test, uji korelasi product moment dari pearson, dan rumus multiplier effect. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ternyata terdapat perbedaan dalam usaha industri tahu antara dua desa. Industri tahu di Desa Ngestiharjo ternyata lebih baik usahanya daripada industri tahu di Desa Baturetno, terutama dalam hal nilai produksi dan pendapatan. Selain itu penggunaan bahan baku lokal ternyata banyak dipergunakan oleh pengusaha, dengan seringnya mengikuti program pembinaan dari pemerintah dapat dapat lebih meningkatkan jumlah produksi, dan Desa Ngestiharjo lebih tinggi nilai efek multipliernya daripada Desa Baturetno.

The suburban areas, particularly those of Yogyakarta city, are suitable places for the tofu industry. This easy can be associated with its location which is close to. the farming area (soybean as the main raw material) and its accessibility to the nearby town to market the products. This is the case of the tofu industry developed in two-village sample in the suburban area. Those villages are Ngestiharjo, Kasihan district, and Baturetno villages, Banguntapan district, Bantul regency. This research is aimed at investigating the differences about the influence of economic region effect in the tofu industry between the two villages, particularly in terms of the amount of production, the amount of income obtained, the effect of local raw material usage on the amount of income, the effect of the guidance program on the production and the prevailing multiplier effect level upon the labor. This research used the survey method, and to choose the places research used the purposive sampling method, and to put the respondent with the census method. By the way the statistic analysis to proof the hypothesis the independent sample t-test, product moment corelation from pearson, and the multiplier effect formula. The results show that the differences in the industrial of the two villages are found. The tofu industri in Ngestiharjo village experiences the development better than that in Baturetno village in terms of the production and income level. In addition, using the local row material increases the level of income among the enter preneurs. Attending the guidance program regularly also contributes to the increase in the production level. Finally, the multiplier effect is higher in Ngestiharjo village compared to Baturetno village.
