This study develops a flexible piezoresistive pressure
sensor based on Polyaniline (PANI)/Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA)/Graphite conductive
composite ink, printed on cardboard substrates using the screen printing
method. The objective was to analyze the effects of graphite addition and
PANI:PVA mass ratio variations (1:2, 2:2, 3:2) on material characteristics and
sensor performance. Characterization results confirmed the formation of
hydrogen bonding and ?-? stacking interactions, while the addition of graphite
significantly enhanced crystallinity and formed interconnected conductive
networks. The PANI/PVA sensor with a 2:2 ratio yielded the best performance
with the highest sensitivity of 9.40 × 10?³ kPa?¹, achieved through layer
elasticity that optimizes the electron tunneling mechanism. Conversely, the
addition of graphite reduced sensitivity due to conductive path saturation and
increased material stiffness despite higher conductivity, demonstrating the
potential of low-cost and eco-friendly sensors for printed electronics
applications.
