Ibuisme Negara di Indonesia: Rekonstruksi Peran Gender dan Kontrol Negara atas Perempuan pada Masa Orde Baru

Melalui metode studi kasus tunggal yang mendalam, penelitian ini berupaya menjelaskan mengapa Orde Baru memilih mengopresi perempuan melalui imperialisme kultural, dalam bentuk ibuisme negara, alih-alih empat metode opresi lain. Penelitian ini mendiskusikan dinamika gerakan perempuan di Indonesia dari sebelum kemerdekaan hingga Orde Baru. Melalui desk research, penelitian ini menjabarkan empat alasan di balik pilihan Orde Baru menerapkan ibuisme negara, sebagai perwujudan imperialisme kultural.

Through an in-depth single case study method, this research seeks to explain the reasons why the New Order chose to oppress women through cultural imperialism, in the form of state ibuism, rather than utilizing the four other methods of oppression. This study explains the dynamics of the women's movement in Indonesia from the pre-independence period to the New Order era. By collecting data through in-depth desk research, this study outlines four reasons for the New Order's choice to implement the ideology of state ibuism, a manifestation of cultural imperialism.
