Pemanfaatan penginderaan jauh dan SIG untuk mengetahui perubahan garis pantai dari tahun 1963-2001 dipantai Teluk Nusa Were-Pangandaran Jawa Barat

Penelitian ini merupakan integrasi data penginderaan jauh dengan SIG untuk mengidentifikasi besarnya perubahan garis pantai yang terjadi antara Pantai Pangandaran dengan pantai di Teluk Nusa Were. Dalam penelitian ini sumber data utama berasal dari data digital citra Landsat MSS tahun 1987, citra digital SPOT tahun 1987, dan citra digital Landsat TM tahun 1997, dan serta ditambah dengan peta topografi tahun 1963 sebagian daerah Cilacap sampai Pangandaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menumpangsusunkan antara peta garis pantai tahun 1963, dengan peta garis pantai hasil delineasi citra Landsat MSS tahun 1978, citra SPOT tahun 1987, citra Landsat TM tahun 1997, dan ditambah dengan hasil kerja lapangan. Selain itu ditambah dengan data sekunder yang menunjukkan terjadinya perubahan garis pantai yang meliputi pola arus, arah angin, dan batimetri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan garis pantai sudah terjadi sejak tahun 1963-1978, yaitu dengan pertambahan daratan baru sebesar 54,45 ha, tahun 1978-1987 sebesar 42.10 ha, tahun 1987-1997 sebesar 48,11 ha, dan tahun 1997-2001 sebesar 14,52 Pertumbuhan rata-rata dari tahun 1963-1978 adalah sebesar 3,63 ha tahun, tahun 1978-1987 sebesar 4,21 ha/tahun, tahun 1987-1997 sebesar 4,811 ha tahun, dan tahun 1997-2001 sebesar 4,61 ha/tahun, hingga total pertambahan daratan baru sebesar 163,08 ha. Besarnya pertambahan daratan disebabkan oleh sedimentasi yang berasal dari Sungai Citandui, akibat dari adanya perubahan penggunaan lahan pada daerah hulu. Ini disebabkan tingkat erosivitas yang tinggi pada daerah hulu menyebabkan sedimentasi yang ada menjadi sangat besar dan terendapkan pada daerah Segara Anakan dan sebagian ke daerah Nusa Were. Hasil dari aktivitas ini adalah terbentuknya tombolo yang menghubungkan antara Pulau Nuse Were dengan Pulau Jawa dan dikenal sebagai "Pelatar Agung". Perkembangan terakhir setelah terbentuknya tombolo adalah arah perubahan garis pantai pada saat ini lebih cenderung ke arah sisi sebelah timur dan barat.

This research is an integration of remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) to identify the changing of the shore line between Pangandaran Beach and the Beach in Nusa Were Gulf Main source of the data used in this research's based on Landsat MSS digital image year of 1978, digital SPOT image year of 1987. and Landsat TM digital image year of 1997, added with topographic map year of 1967 of part of Cilacap region to Pangandaran. Mehode which is used to this research is by overlaying the shore line map year of 1963, and the shore line map from the delineation of Landsat MSS image year of 1978, SPOT image year of 1987, Landsat TM image year of 1997, and added with the field work result. Beside, it is also added with secondary data that shows the occurrence of the shore line changing which includes the pattern of the current, the direction of the wind, and the bathymetric The result of this research shows that the changing of the shore line has already occurred since 1963 up to 1978, showed by the addition of the new land of 54,45 ha, 42.10 ha during 1978 up to 1987, 48,11 ha during 1987 up to 1997, and 14,52 ha during 1997 up to 2001. The average of the increase during 1963 up to 1978 is 3,63 ha/year. 4,21 ha/year during 1978 up to 1987, 4,81 ha/year during 1987 up to 1997, and 4,61 ha/year during 1997 up to 2001, so that the total increment of the new land is 163,08 ha. The large number of the new land increment is caused by the sedimentation from Citandui river, as the result of land uses changes in the upstream area. The high level of the erosion causes the sedimentation becomes very high and deposited in Segara Anakan area while some part of it area deposited in Nusa Were area. The result of this activity is the forming of tombolo which connects the Nusa Were Island and Java Island and is well-known as "Pelatar Agung". The recent development after the tombolo forming is that the recent direction of the shore line tends to the east side and west side.
