Kebutuhan investasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah Kabupaten Tebo Provinsi Jambi

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperkirakan kebutuhan investasi untuk mencapai tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi tertentu di Kabupaten Tebo, berdasarkan nilai Incremental Capital-Output Ratio (ICOR) dan proyeksi Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) tahun 2004-2007. Penelitian ini menggunakan data periode tahun 2000-2003, terdiri dari PDRB atas dasar harga konstan, investasi pemerintah dan swasta. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah perhitungan ICOR, pertumbuhan ekonomi dan proyeksi PDRB dan perhitungan kebutuhan investasi periode 2000-2003. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, nilai ICOR di Kabupaten Tebo sebesar 6,29. Kebutuhan investasi berdasarkan nilai ICOR tersebut untuk tahun 2004, 2005, 2006 dan 2007 masing-masing sebesar Rp.208,84 milyar, Rp.217,895 milyar, Rp.227,342 milyar dan Rp.237,198 milyar. Kinerja investasi dapat ditingkatkan dengan meningkatkan produktivitas sektor pertanian dan industri kecil.

The purpose of this study was to estimate the investment needed for achieving a certain level of economic growth in Tebo, based on Incremental Capital-Output Ratio (ICOR) calculation and the projection of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) for 2004-2007. This study used a time-series data set during 2000-2003, consist of PDRB at constant price, government and private investment. The analysis tools for this study were annual average growth rate approach model, the projection of Gross Regional Domestic Product, and the need of investement for 2000-2003 periods. The Study obtained that ICOR level in Tebo was 6,29. The needs of invesment based on this ICOR level were Rp.54.58 billion in 2004, Rp.56,91 billion in 2005, Rp.59.42 billion in 2006 and Rp.61.99 billion in 2007. The Investment performance can be improved by raising productivity level of agricultural sector and small-scale industry.
