Kebutuhan informasi yang cepat dan akurat dalam suatu perencanaan wilayah harus didukung oleh kecepatan data spasial dengan akses yang mudah pula. Sehingga diperlukan data spasial dengan kualitas yang baik. Karena peta memiliki keterbatasan wahana untuk menyajikan informasi spasial yang lebih banyak, maka diperlukan bentuk lain yang dapat menyajikan informasi yang lebih banyak yaitu berupa atlas. Atlas ini memuat informasi jaringan jalan yang berupa kelas jalan, lebar jalan, kapasitas jalan, volume kendaraan dan tingkat pelayanan jalan. Atlas ini disusun secara elektronik sehingga akan sangat bermanfaat untuk masyarakat secara luas. Pemilihan tools pada atlas ini sangat sederhana, baik dari bentuknya, maupun bahasa yang dipergunakan, sehingga masyarakat yang awam terhadap atlas akan sangat mudah untuk memahami isi atlas. Tingkat pelayanan jalan yang merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab kemacetan dipresentasikan lewat simbol garis. Besar kecilnya ruas jalan mengindikasikan besar kecilnya tingkat pelayanan jalan tersebut. Daerah yang terpilih secara otomatis akan muncul windows informasi deskripsi wilayah apabila di-select. Atlas jaringan jalan ini disusun dari data sekunder yang berasal dari dinas terkait, sehingga penulis tidak melakukan pengukuran secara langsung dilapangan. Sedangkan informasi lebar jalan diperoleh dari hasil interpretasi citra Quickbird. Dengan tambahan informasi berupa image diharapakan pembaca lebih tertarik untuk melihat secara lebih mendalam.

The needed of fast and accurate information in the regional planning must supported by the fast and easy access to the spatial data. So, spatial data with a good quality is needed. Because of map have limit to provide much spatial information, so its need other shape that can provide much more information; like atlas. The atlas contain of road network information which are road class, road wide, capacity, vehicle volume and road service level. The atlas arranged electronically so it will be useful for wider community. The tools that used in this atlas is very simple, from the shape, even from the language; so the user can easily understand the atlas contents. Eventually the didn't familiar with atlas. Road level service as one of rush cause factor presented by line symbol. The size of road is indicate the level road level service. Region description information windows will be appear automatically on the selected region. This road network atlas arranged from secondary data that sourced from related department. So the writer did not do real measurement from the field. Wide road information obtained from Indonesian Rupabumi Map. With image as an additional information hopefully reader will be more interested
