Program digitalisasi arsip foto cetak kegiatan masa pemerintahan Bupati Sleman merupakan upaya pelestarian informasi arsip yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Sleman serta menjadi bentuk pelayanan aksesibilitas arsip statis kepada publik secara digital. Arsip foto cetak kegiatan masa pemerintahan Bupati Sleman merupakan arsip hasil akuisisi dari Bagian Humas Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Sleman yang memuat informasi mengenai kegiatan pada pemerintahan Bupati Sleman dari masa ke masa sebagai bukti autentik perjalanan sejarah wilayah Kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas proses program digitalisasi arsip foto cetak masa pemerintahan Bupati Sleman di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Sleman.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Teknik observasi dengan observasi non partisipan sehingga peneliti mengamati kegiatan yang telah berlangsung sebelumnya. Teknik ini didukung oleh wawancara secara mendalam dengan teknik wawancara semiterstruktur terhadap dua narasumber yang memiliki keterkaitan langsung dengan topik penelitian. Teknik studi pustaka dilakukan dengan menelaah berbagai sumber tertulis seperti buku, artikel jurnal, karya ilmiah tidak diterbitkan, produk hukum, dan sumber dari internet. 

Hasil penelitian ini program digitalisasi arsip foto cetak kegiatan masa pemerintahan Bupati Sleman dilaksanakan melalui proses perencanaan digitalisasi, menyeleksi koleksi, persiapan teknik, proses alih media, editing, penyimpanan arsip digital, serta distribusi dan akses. Secara umum, pelaksanaan program digitalisasi arsip foto cetak dapat dilaksanakan namun belum optimal karena terdapat kendala pada sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana, serta gangguan sistem yang bersumber dari pengelolaan pusat.

The digitalization program of printed photo archives of governance activities during the term of the Regent of Sleman is an effort to preserve archival information initiated by the Library and Archives Office of Sleman Regency, it also serves as a means of providing digital access to static archives for the public. The printed photo archives of government activity during the term of the regent of Sleman were acquired from the Public Relations Division of the Regional Secretariat of Sleman Regency and contain visual documentation related to activities during the term of the regent of Sleman over time as authentic evidence of the historical journey of Sleman Regency. This research aims to examine the implementation process of the digitalization program of printed photo archives of government activity during the term of the regent of Sleman at the Library and Archive Office of Sleman Regency.

This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and literature review. The observation technique uses non-participant observation where the researcher observes activities that have previously been conducted. This technique was supported by in-depth interviews using a semi-structured interview approach with two informants directly related to the research topic. The literature review technique involves reading and understanding written sources such as books, journal articles, unpublished scientific works, legal documents, and internet sources. 

The result of this research shows that the digitalization program of printed photo archives of governance activities during the term of the Regent of Sleman is carried out through the processes of digitalization planning, collection selection, technical preparation, media transfer, editing, distribution and access, and archive digital storage. In general, the digitalization program of printed photo archives can be carried out but is not yet optimal due to obstacles related to human resources, facilities and infrastructure, as well as system disruptions originating from the central management.
