Evaluasi Strategi Joint Venture dalam Mengatasi Kebangkrutan dan Defisit Kepercayaan studi kasus PT Janu Putra Sejahtera Periode Tahun 2019-2024

PT Janu Putra Sejahtera adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang peternakan ayam yang membudidayakan ayam grand parent stock, parent stock , pedaging/broiler, dan petelur. Perusahaan ini menghadapai banyak tantangan, seperti dominasi pasar oleh perusahaan terintegrasi, pandemi Covid-19, hingga tata kelola internal yang kurang profesional. Pada tahun 2020, PT Janu Putra Sejahtera sempat mengalami krisis keuangan yang mengakibatkan defisit kepercayaan stakeholder seperti supplier dan investor. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, pada tahun 2021 , perusahaan menerapkan strategi joint venture dengan De Heus , perusahaan asal Belanda yang mengembangkan bisnis poultry di Indonesia. Langkah joint venture untuk mengatasi krisis perusahaan tersebut menarik unruk di teliti lebih lanjut. Oleh karena itu , penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keberhasilan strategi joint venture yang diterapkan PT Janu Putra Sejahtera dalam mengatasi masalah keuangan dan mengembalikan kepercayaan stakeholder. Untuk meninjau keberhasilan strategi itu, penelitian ini menggunakan teori utama joint venture dengan konsep rasio keuangan dan stakeholder sebagai pendukung. Penelitian dijalankan dengan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang didukung metode kuantitatif. Metode kualitatif dipakai untuk menganalisis kondisi keuangan dan kepercayaan stakeholder sebelum dan setelah penerapan joint venture selama 2019-2024, dengan menggunakan data primer dari hasil wawancara bersama 13 narasumber stakeholder PT Janu Putra Sejahtera. Metode kuantitatif dipakai untuk menganalisis rasio keuangan pada masa sebelum dan setelah penerapan joint venture, dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari laporan keuangan PT Janu Putra Sejahtera selama 2019-2024, untuk menguatkan data kualitatif. Dari hasil temuan dan analisis, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi joint venture mampu membuat PT Janu Putra Sejahtera memiliki tata kelola yang lebih baik dari segi pemanfaatan teknologi terbaru dan manajemen sumber daya manusia. Dengan tata kelola yang baik, kondisi keuangan PT Janu Putra menunjukkan tren positif dan mampu menghasilkan profit. Kemudian, setelah menerapkan joint venture, kepercayaan stakeholder pada PT Janu Putra Sejahtera mengalami peningkatan dengan banyak pihak ketiga yang ingin bekerja sama kembali.
PT Janu Putra Sejahtera is a company engaged in the poultry farming industry, cultivating grand parent stock, parent stock broilers dan layer chickens. the company has faced numerous challenges, including market domination by integrated corporations, Covid-19 pandemic, and less profecional internal governance. In 2020, PT Janu Putra Sejahtera experienced a financial crisis that resulted in a loss of stakeholder confidence, particularly among suppliers and investors. To address these issues, in 2021 the company implemented a joint venture strategy with De Heus , a Netherlands-based address company seeking to expand its poultry business in Indonesia. The implementation of the joint venture as a corporate crisis management strategy presents an interesting case for further study. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the joint venture strategy adopted by PT Janu Putra Sejahtera in overcoming financial difficulties and restoring stakeholder trust. To assess of this strategy, the study employs joint venture theory as the main analysis framework, supported by concepts of financial ratio analysis and stakeholder theory. The research was conducted using a qualitative method with a case study approach, supported by a quantitative method. the qualitative method was employed to analyze the company’s financial condition and stakeholder trust before and after the implementation of the joint venture during 2019–2024, using primary data obtained from interviews with 13 stakeholder informants of PT Janu Putra Sejahtera. The quantitative method was applied to analyze financial ratios in the periods before and after the joint venture implementation, using secondary data from the company’s financial reports from 2019 to 2024, to strengthen the qualitative findings. Based on the findings and analysis, this study concludes that the joint venture strategy has enabled PT Janu Putra Sejahtera to achieve better corporate governance, particular in the utilization of modern technology and human resource management. With improved governance, the company’s financial condition has shown a positive trend and has been able to generate profits. Furthermore, after the implementation of the joint venture, stakeholder trust in PT Janu Putra Sejahtera has increased, as evidenced by the growing interest of third parties to reestablish cooperation with the company.
