KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT MATURITY (KMM) LEVEL AND THE RELATIONSHIP WITH ORGANIZATION PERFORMANCE IN CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES IN INDONESIA

Knowledge is a combination of experience, values and contextual information that combined into a framework to evaluate and make a new experiences and informations. The construction company is inseparable from knowledge. This knowledge is very useful to improve the performance of the company. Knowledge management is a very useful tool to organize knowledge in the company itself. The implementation of KM is expected to improve the ability of construction companies in Indonesia to compete with foriegn companies. This improvement expected to increase the GDP of Indonesia. Therefore, construction companies need an instrument to measure the level of implementation of KM that can be used for benchmarking and process to improve the implementation of KM. This instrument will be tested to 66 respondents to test the validity of the instruments using EFA (Exploratory Factor Analysis) and moderation effect using linear reggresion. In addition, this study also examine the relationship between KM maturity level and organization performance. The results of this researching that the average of construction companies in Indonesia have been implement KM in level 2 which is 50%, level 3 is 41%, lebel 4 is 6% and level 1 is 3%. Level 1 is the lowest level of implementation and level 4 is the highest level of implementation. This research was found that there is a significant relationship between implementation KM and organization performance with project complexity as a moderation variable.
