Hubungan kepribadian dan kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen organisasi

2005 | Tesis | S2 PsikologiPenelitian ini menguji hubungan antara faktor-faktor kepribadian dan faktor-faktor kepuasan kerja dengan faktor-faktor komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 94 subjek yang terdiri dari tenaga edukatif dan administratif UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Data diperoleh dari skala kepribadian, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasi. Hasil analisis regresi multivariat menyatakan: 1) ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara extraversion, conscientiousness dan semua faktor kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen afektif, ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara emotional stability dengan komitmen afektif, dan ada hubungan yang tidak signifikan antara agreeableness dan openness to experience dengan komitmen afektif; 2) ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara conscientiousness dan kepuasan intrinsik dengan komitmen kontinuansi, ada hubungan yang tidak signifikan antara extraversion, agreeableness, emotional stability, openness to experience, dan kepuasan ekstrinsik dengan komitmen kontinuansi; 3) ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara extraversion, conscientiousness, dan kepuasan intrinsik dengan komitmen normatif, ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kepuasan ekstrinsik dengan komitmen normatif, ada hubungan yang tidak signifikan antara agreeableness, emotional stability dan openness to experience dengan komitmen normatif.
This research tested the correlation of personality factors and job satisfaction factors with organizational commitment factors. This research involved 94 subjects of educative and administrative staff in Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University of Yogyakarta. Data was found of personality scale, job satisfaction scale, and organizational commitment scale. Results of multivariate regression analysis concluded that 1) there was a very significant positive correlation of extraversion, conscientiousness, and all of job satisfaction factors with affective commitment, there was a significant positive correlation of agreeableness with affective commitment, and there was non significant correlation of agreeableness and openness to experience with affective commitment; 2) there was a very significant positive correlation of conscientiousness and intrinsic satisfaction with continuence commitment, there was non significant correlation of extraversion, agreeableness, emotional stability, openness to experience and extrinsic satisfaction with continuence commitment; 3) there was a very significant correlation of extraversion, conscientiousness, and intrinsic satisfaction with normative commitment, there was a significant correlation of extrinsic satisfaction with normative commitment, there was non significant correlation of agreeableness, emotional stability, and openness to experience with normative commitment.
