Pengaruh pelatihan imageri dan tipe kepribadian terhadap kreativitas siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama kelas Dua

2005 | Tesis | S2 PsikologiTujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh pelatihan imageri dan tipe kepribadian introvert dan ekstrovert terhadap peningkatan kreativitas. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial: The factorial pre and post test design. Subjek penelitian adalah 22 siswa SMPN 8 Yogyakarta. Sampel diambil secara random; dari 10 kelas pararel dipilih dua kelas. Dua kelas tersebut secara random ditentukan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pada awal eksperimen semua kelompok diberi tes kepribadian untuk pengelompokkan siswa yang bertipe kepribadian introvert dan ekstrovert, kemudian diberi pre tes kreativitas verbal. Selanjutnya, kelompok eksperimen diberi pelatihan imageri selama 3 kali. Kelompok kontrol tidak diberi pelatihan sama sekali. Pada akhir eksperimen semua kelompok diberi pos tes kreativitas verbal. Hasil eksperimen dianalisis dengan analisis varian. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: (a) pelatihan imageri berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas, (b) kepribadian tidak berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas, dan (c) tidak ada interaksi yang signifikan antara pelatihan imageri dengan tipe kepribadian introvert dan ekstrovert terhadap kreativitas. Kesimpulannya imageri berperan penting terhadap peningkatan kreativitas, tetapi tipe kepribadian introvert dan ekstrovert tidak berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kreativitas siswa.
The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of training imagery and personality type of introvert and exstrovert on the development of creativity. A Quasi experimental approach is used with the factorial pre and post test design. These subjects were 22 students attending year two high school in Jogyakarta. Ten classes were sample randomized and from these two classes were selected. The two classes were divided into two groups, an experiment group and a control group. Initially, the personality test was administered to divide into two types of personality group, extrovert and introvert. Students then completed a verbal creativity test. Training for developing the imagery was administered three times to the experimental group and the control group did not receive this training. The post test of verbal creativity was administered to both group at the end of the experiment. The result of the data were analyzed by anava. The research found out, that : (a) the training for developing imagery had a affect on creativity, (b) the type of personality did not have affect on creativity and (c) did not demonstrate significant interaction between the training for developing imagery and the types of personality, extrovert and introvert on creativity. The conclusion is that imagery has an the important role on the development of creativity, but personality type of introvert and extrovert does not affect the development of creativity.
