POSTTRAUMATIC GROWTH PADA PEREMPUAN PENYINTAS KEKERASAN SEKSUAL DI INDONESIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna proses posttraumatic growth pada perempuan yang pernah mengalami kekerasan seksual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 3 perempuan penyintas kekerasan seksual berusia antara 22 hingga 27 tahun. Pemilihan partisipan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan rekrutmen partisipan dengan metode snowball sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Hasil penelitian mengungkap 6 tema, yakni (1) pengalaman kekerasan seksual; (2) dampak kekerasan seksual; (3) kondisi sebelum kekerasan seksual; (4) Upaya mengatasi dampak kekerasan seksual; (5) pendukung proses mengatasi kekerasan seksual; dan (6) makna melewati proses menghadapi kekerasan seksual. Ketiga partisipan memaknai hasil proses ini sebagai pertumbuhan menuju keutuhan. Pertumbuhan pada setiap partisipan terwujud dalam bentuk yang berbeda karena kombinasi upaya mengatasi, pendukung proses dan kondisi sebelum kekerasan seksual yang berbeda pada setiap partisipan.

This study aims to determine the meaning of the posttraumatic growth process in women who have experienced sexual violence. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research participants consisted of 3 female survivors of sexual violence aged between 22 and 27 years. The selection of participants used the purposive sampling method and participant recruitment used the snowball sampling method. Research data were collected through semi-structured interviews. The data were then analyzed using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) technique. The results of the study revealed 6 themes, namely (1) experiences of sexual violence; (2) the impact of sexual violence; (3) conditions before sexual violence; (4) Efforts to overcome the impact of sexual violence; (5) support the process of overcoming sexual violence; and (6) the meaning of throught of the process of overcoming sexual violence. The three participants interpreted the results of this process as growth in a wholeness. Growth in each participant was manifested in different forms due to the combination of efforts to overcome, supporters of the process and conditions before sexual violence that were different for each participant.
