Pengaruh Keberadaan Wanita dalam Dewan terhadap Praktik Greenwashing pada Perusahaan Nonkeuangan yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh keberadaan wanita dalam dewan direksi dan dewan komisaris terhadap praktik greenwashing pada perusahaan nonkeuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2021-2023. Analisis dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan regresi fixed effect serta robust standard errors. Model regresi ini juga mengontrol variabel lain seperti ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, dan leverage. Kerangka analisis penelitian ini didasarkan pada upper echelons theory. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan wanita dalam dewan komisaris berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap praktik greenwashing. Sementara itu, keberadaan wanita dalam dewan direksi menunjukkan pengaruh positif yang marginal signifikan pada tingkat 10%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa keterlibatan wanita dalam fungsi pengawasan cenderung lebih efektif dalam menekan praktik greenwashing dibandingkan dalam fungsi eksekutif.

This study aims to examine the effect of female presence on the board of directors and the board of commissioners on greenwashing practices in non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021-2023 period. The analysis is conducted using a quantitative approach with fixed effect regression and robust standard errors. The regression model also controls for firm size, profitability, and leverage. The analytical framework of this study is based on upper echelons theory. The results show that the presence of women on the board of commissioners has a negative and significant effect on greenwashing practices. Meanwhile, the presence of women on the board of directors shows a positive effect that is marginally significant at the 10% level. These findings suggest that women's involvement in supervisory roles tends to be more effective in reducing greenwashing than in executive roles.
