Studi stabilitas sistem tenaga listrik di Sumatera Utara

2004 | Tesis | S2 Teknik ElektroPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mngetahui kinerja dari masing-masing pembangkit pada sistem tenaga listrik di Sumatera Utara bila terjadinya gangguan berupa perlepasan beban pada bus Langsa. Dengan meninjau kurva respon melaui sismulasi dengan program EDSA dapat diketahui perubahan sudut rotor, osilasi tegangandan penurunan daya elektrik untuk masing-masing sistem pembangkit saat terjadinya pelepasan beban pada bus Langsa. Efektifitas penerapan Power System Stabilizer (PSS) sebagai konpensasi untuk memperbaiki watak stabilitas sistem tenaga terhadap pelepasan beban dengan mengamati perubahan sudut rotor, tegangan dan daya elektrik. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa pemasangan Power System Stabilizer (PSS) memberikan redaman terhadap waktu osilasi dan redaman terhadap overshoot. Besarnya persentase redaman waktu osilasi 50% - 64% dan redaman overshoot 0 - 0.13%
The research aimed to find out the work of each electric power station on the electrical power system in North Sumatra whether there were any disturbances such as load discharge on Langsa bus. By surveying respond curve through a simulation using a program of EDSA, it was found out a change in rotor angle, tension oscillation and electric power decrease for each of electrical power station system at the time of a load discharge on the Langsa bus. An effectiveness of application of Power System Stabilizer (PSS) as compensation to fulfill the characteristic of electric power system toward load discharge by observing the change in rotor angle, electric tension and power. Observation results showed that installation of Power System Stabilizer (PSS) provided attenuation toward oscillation time and attenuation toward overshoot. The magnitude of the attenuation percentage of oscillation was 50% - 64% and attenuation of overshoot was 0 – 3.1%.
