Analisis Pengaruh Sektor Pariwisata Terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja Di Kabupaten/ Kota DIY Tahun 2016-2022

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sektor pariwisata terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Kabupaten/ Kota DIY Tahun 2016-2022. Metode analisis yang digunakan berupa data kuantitatif dengan metode regresi data panel yang terdiri dari gabungan data cross section yaitu data Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi DIY dan time series yaitu tahun 2016-2022 . Model yang terpilih dalam penelitian ini adalah Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Variabel independen yang dipakai mencakup jumlah usaha pariwisata, total kunjungan wisatawan domestik, jumlah objek wisata, dan upah minimum Kabupaten/Kota sebelum serta saat menjelang pandemi covid-19, sementara variabel dependen yang digunakan adalah penyerapan tenaga kerja. Penelitian memanfaatkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik DIY serta Statistik Pariwisata DIY. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jumlah usaha pariwisata dan upah minimum memiliki pengaruh signifikan, sementara jumlah wisatawan domestik dan jumlah objek wisata tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi DIY.

This study aims to analyze the impact of the tourism sector on employment absorption in the Regencies/Cities of DIY Province from 2016 to 2022. The analytical method employed involves quantitative data using panel data regression, which combines cross-sectional data (data from the Regencies/Cities in DIY Province) and time series data (from 2016 to 2022). The selected model in this study is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The independent variables used include the number of tourism businesses, total domestic tourist visits, the number of tourist attractions, and the minimum wage of the regency/city before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, while the dependent variable used is labor absorption. The study utilizes data from the Central Statistics Agency of DIY and the DIY Tourism Statistics. The results of this study indicate that the number of tourism businesses and the minimum wage have a significant influence, while the number of domestic tourists and the number of tourist attractions do not have a significant influence on labor absorption in the districts/cities of DIY Province.
