PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI USAHA KESEHATAN SEKOLAH (UKS) SMP DAN SMA BUDI MULIA DUA, SLEMAN

Latar belakang: Kesehatan siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran dan kualitas hidup peserta didik. Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) menjadi program strategis dalam menyediakan pelayanan dan pendidikan kesehatan di lingkungan sekolah. UKS SMP dan SMA Budi Mulia Dua Sleman sudah melakukan kegiatan kesehatan secara rutin, namun pencatatan data kesehatan masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga menimbulkan risiko kehilangan data, keterlambatan pelaporan, dan ketidakefisienan dalam pemantauan kesehatan siswa.

Tujuan: Merancang sistem informasi kesehatan berbasis web yang mendukung kegiatan UKS, agar pencatatan dan pengelolaan data kesehatan siswa lebih efektif, akurat, dan sesuai pedoman. 

Metode: Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan pendekatan prototyping. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, serta evaluasi sistem menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD).

Hasil: Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah prototipe sistem informasi UKS berbasis web dengan fitur utama seperti pencatatan kunjungan siswa, histori kesehatan, data hasil MCU tahunan, manajemen stok obat, dan akses data kesehatan oleh guru pembimbing. Evaluasi usability sistem menunjukkan skor 72 yang masuk kategori “Good” berdasarkan hasil SUS, serta memperoleh tanggapan positif dari pengguna.

Kesimpulan: Sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pencatatan, mempercepat pelaporan, dan memperkuat koordinasi antara petugas UKS dan guru pembimbing dalam mendukung kesehatan peserta didik.

Background: Student health is an important aspect in supporting the learning process and the quality of life of students. The School Health Program (UKS) is a strategic program in providing health services and education in the school environment. The UKS at SMP and SMA Budi Mulia Dua Sleman has been conducting regular health activities, but health data recording is still done manually, which poses risks of data loss, delayed reporting, and inefficiency in monitoring student health.

Objective: To design a web-based health information system that supports UKS activities, making student health data recording and management more effective, accurate, and compliant with guidelines.  

Method: The study employed the Research and Development (RnD) method with a prototyping approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, document reviews, and system evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and Focus Group Discussions (FGD).

Result: The outcome of this study is a prototype of a web-based UKS information system with key features such as recording student visits, health history, annual MCU results data, medication stock management, and access to health data by guidance counselors. The system usability evaluation yielded a score of 72, categorized as “Good” based on SUS results, and received positive feedback from users.

Conclusion: This system can serve as a solution to improve recording efficiency, expedite reporting, and strengthen coordination between UKS staff and student advisor in supporting student health.
