Peran Self Compassion terhadap Intensi Melakukan Perilaku Perundungan Online pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama

Pentingnya siswa memiliki belas kasih terhadap diri diprediksi dapat memengaruhi cara siswa berbelas kasih terhadap sesama. Apabila siswa memiliki kemampuan belas kasih yang tinggi, maka kemungkinkan siswa melakukan perilaku perundungan daring semakin rendah. Melalui Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), peneliti juga meneliti keterkaitan antara ketiga determinan (Sikap, Nilai Subjektif, Kontrol Perilaku) terhadap intensi melakukan perundungan daring secara lebih komprehensif. Studi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif terhadap 222 partisian SMP. Penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, dengan hasil R2 = 0.547. Hasil korelasi koefisien Self Compassion (r) = -.292, yang menunjukkan bahwa self compassion signifikan dan berkorelasi terhadap intensi cyberbullying. Hasil korelasi koefisien Attitude (r) = 0.517, hasil korelasi koefisien Subjective Norms (r) = 0.678, hasil korelasi koefisien Perceived Behavioral Control (r) = 0.521, yang menunjukkan bahwa ketiga determinan TPB signifikan dan berkorelasi secara positif terhadap intensi cyberbullying
The importance of self compassion in students was predicted to influence how they show compassion towards others on social media. If students have a high level of compassion, then they had a lower possibility to engage the aggresive behavior. Through the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), researchers also examined the relationship between three determinants (Attitudes, Subjective Norms, Perceived Behavioral Control/PBC) with the intention to engage cyberbullying comprehensively. The study was conducted using quantitative methods for 222 junior high school students. The study used a multiple linear regression analysis, with results R2 = 0.547. The correlation coefficient of Self Compassion (r) = -.292, which shows that self compassion was significantly correlated with cyberbullying intention. The correlation coefficient of Attitude (r) = 0.517, the correlation coefficient of Subjective Norms (r) = 0.678, and the correlation coefficient of PBC (r) = 0.521, which shows that the three determinants of TPB was significant and positively correlated with cyberbullying intention.
