Prospek minyak sawit Indonesia di Pasar Eropa Timur

2004 | Tesis | Magister Manajemen AgribisnisTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari impor, produksi dan konsumsi minyak dan lemak khususnya minyak sawit Indonesia di negaranegara Eropa Timur. Sekaligus melakukan pemilihan negara-negara di Eropa Timur yang merupakan pasar dengan potensi yang tinggi. Data statistik impor, produksi dan konsumsi serta pembahasan lain tentang minyak dan lemak terutama minyak sawit asal Indonesia digunakan dalam analisis. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis ukuran pasar, pertumbuhan, pola dan pengukuran kinerja dengan AR dan RCA. Sedangkan dalam melakukan seleksi negara sasaran potensial di Eropa Timur, digunakan Tabel Market Selection Criteria yang menyeleksi pasar berdasarkan Dimensi, Evolusi dan Kompetisi. Minyak sawit khususnya minyak sawit Indonesia memiliki keunggulan komparatif dibandingkan kompetitornya, dan menunjukkan permintaan yang semakin meningkat. Negara yang terpilih sebagai prioritas tujuan pemasaran munyak sawit Indonesia adalah Rusia, Romania, Czech, Hungaria, Switzerland, dan Lithuania.
The aim of this research is to investigate import, production and consumption of oil and fats of Indonesian palm oil in Eastern European countries. It is also selecting highly prospective markets in the Eastern Europe. Statistical data of import, production and consumption, the other explanation about oil and fats of Indonesian palm oil were used in analysis. The parameter investigated were market dimension, growth, pattern and performance measurement using AR and RCA. Also selecting potential markets in the Eastern Europe by using Market Selection Criteria Table which contained three criterias ; Dimension, Evolution and Competition. Result of the analysis show that Indonesian palm oil has a comparative advantage compared to the competitors. Meanwhile, demand of palm oil in the Eastern Europe has been rising up during the last five years. The countries that had been classified as the main direction of Indonesian palm oil markets were Rusia, Romania, Czech, Hungary, Switzerland and Lithuania.
