Pengelolaan Arsip Artistik pada Selasar Sunaryo Art Space

Penelitian ini membahas pengelolaan arsip artistik pada Selasar Sunaryo Art Space. Pengelolaan arsip tersebut mengacu kepada Records Continuum Model, mulai dari pra-komunikasi penciptaan dokumen, pasca komunikasi arsip, mengorganisir arsip memori organisasi, hingga mempluralisasi  arsip-arsip sebagai memori kolektif.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif studi kasus. Dalam penyusunan proyek akhir ini terdapat tiga metode pengumpulan data yakni, wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Kegiatan wawancara dilakukan peneliti dengan narasumber yang disarankan oleh organisasi tempat peneliti untuk mengetahui pengelolaan arsip artistik yang dilakukan. Observasi juga dilakukan peneliti guna mengamati pengelolaan arsip artistik secara langsung di Selasar Sunaryo Art Space. Selain kedua metode tersebut peneliti juga melakukan studi dokumen untuk melengkapi data hasil wawancara dan observasi. Penelitian ini juga dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data dengan melalui beberapa langkah, diantaranya yakni, merapikan data, menemukan data, membuat kategori, membuat pola, hingga struktur analisis. 

Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah deskripsi terkait dengan arsip artistik yang ada di Selasar Sunaryo Art Space serta pengelolaan arsip artistik berkesinambungan yang dilakukan oleh Selasar Sunaryo Art Space. Arsip artistik yang ada di Selasar Sunaryo Art Space berupa hasil samping dari kegiatan seni, baik dari sang seniman pendiri Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, Sunaryo, hasil kegiatan artistik yang terlaksana di Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, maupun arsip perjalanan dari Selasar Sunaryo Art Space sebagai salah satu organisasi seni yang ada di Bandung. Pengelolaan arsip artistik yang ada di Selasar Sunaryo Art Space pada dasar berkesinambungan tidak ada bagian terpisah yang dapat dilihat jelas, tetapi pengelolaan arsip artistik tersebut dapat dianalisis mulai dari proses pra-komunikasi dokumen, pasca-komunikasi dokumen dimana dokumen-dokumen tersebut membentuk arsip yang dapat mencerminkan kegiatan, kemudian arsip-arsip tersebut diorganisir untuk menjadi memori organisasi, hingga kemudian menjadi memori plural.

This research discusses the artistic records management at Selasar Sunaryo Art Space. The records management refers to records continuum model, referring from a pre-communication for document creation, a post-communication of records, organizing organizational memory archive, until pluralizing archives as collective memory.

This research is a case study qualitative research. In the preparation of this final project, there are three data collection methods, namely interviews, observations, and document studies. Interview activities were carried out by researchers with sources suggested by the organization where the researcher was to find out the management of artistic records carried out. Observation was also carried out by researchers to observe the management of artistic records directly at Selasar Sunaryo Art Space. In addition to these two methods, researchers also conducted document studies to complement the data from interviews and observations. This research was also analyzed using data analysis techniques through several steps, including tidying up the data, finding items, creating stable sets of item, creating patterns, and assembling structures.

The result of this research is a description related to the artistic records at Selasar Sunaryo Art Space and the artistic records continuum management carried out by Selasar Sunaryo Art Space. The artistic records at Selasar Sunaryo Art Space are in the form of by-products of artistic activities, both from the founding artist of Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, Sunaryo, the results of artistic activities carried out at Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, as well as journey records from Selasar Sunaryo Art Space as one of the art organizations in Bandung. The management of artistic records at Selasar Sunaryo Art Space on a continuum basis does not have a separate part that are ready discernible, but the management of artistic records can be analyzed starting from the process of pre-communication of documents, post-communication of documents where these documents form records that can reflect activities, then the archives are organized to become organizational memory, then become plural memory.
