Persepsi Masyarakat Terhadap Jasa Lingkungan Berbasis Hutan Studi Kasus di Hutan Mangrove Desa Batu Ampar, Kecamatan Batu Ampar, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat

Hutan mangrove memberikan jasa lingkungan yang penting bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat serta mendukung upaya perlindungan dan pengelolaan hutan. Pengelolaan dan perlindungan hutan sangat dipengaruhi oleh pemahaman serta persepsi masyarakat sebagai pengguna terhadap jasa lingkungan hutan Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi persepsi jasa lingkungan yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat, serta menganalisis hubungan persepsi masyarakat dengan dukungan terhadap pengelolaan hutan mangrove di Desa Batu Ampar. Penentuan dusun menggunakan metode studi kasus terfokus pada tiga dusun yaitu dusun Keruing, Sungai Limau dan Teluk Air. Penentuan responden dilakukan dengan teknik accidental sampling melalui survei kuesioner tatap muka. Analisis dilakukan melalui uji t, ANOVA, Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), dan korelasi Spearman rank. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa jasa penyediaan (provisioning services) merupakan jenis jasa yang paling dirasakan masyarakat, dan tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap semua persepsi terhadap kategori jasa lingkungan. Analisis IPA mengungkapkan bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat telah merasakan manfaat nyata dari jasa lingkungan yang ada. Persepsi masyarakat memiliki hubungan positif dengan dukungan terhadap pengelolaan hutan mangrove. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran persepsi dalam keberhasilan pengelolaan hutan mangrove di Desa Batu Ampar.

Mangrove forests provide important environmental services for community welfare and support forest protection and management efforts. Forest management and protection were strongly influenced by the understanding and perceptions of the community as users of forest ecosystem services. This study aims to identify the perception of ecosystem services, and analyze the relationship between community perceptions and support for mangrove forest management in Batu Ampar Village. Determination of hamlets using the study case, focused on three hamlets Keruing, Sungai Limau, and Teluk Air. Respondents were selected using an accidental sampling technique through a face-to-face questionnaire survey. Analysis was conducted through t-test, ANOVA, Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), and Spearman rank correlation. The results show that provisioning services are the type of services that are most perceived by the community, and education level has a significant effect on perceptions in all ecosystem service categories. IPA analysis revealed that most communities have perceived tangible benefits from existing ecosystem services. Community perceptions have a positive relationship with support for mangrove forest management. This finding confirms the important role of perception in the success of mangrove forest management in Batu Ampar Village.
