Kondisi Sosial Masyarakat Sudan pada Rezim ‘Umar al-Basyir dalam Novel al-‘Asyiqu al-Baduwi Karya ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Barakah Sakin: Analisis Sosiologi Sastra

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengungkapkan kondisi sosial masyarakat Sudan yang terdapat dalam novel al-‘Asyiqu al-Baduwi Karya ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Barakah Sakin dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Kondisi sosial yang ada di dalam novel al-‘Asyiqu al-Baduwi merupakan gambaran kondisi sosial masyarakat Sudan di bawah rezim ‘Umar al-Basyir. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan teori sosiologi sastra dengan metode deskriptif analitik untuk memberikan analisis kondisi sosial yang ada di dalam novel kemudian menghubungkannya dengan realitas sosial yang terjadi di Sudan saat rezim berkuasa.

Hasil penelitian terhadap novel  al-‘Asyiqu al-Baduwi Karya ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Barakah Sakin mengungkapkan tiga kondisi sosial masyarakat Sudan pada saat rezim ‘Umar al-Basyir berkuasa. Tiga kondisi sosial tersebut, meliputi kekejaman aparat keamanan, pemberontakan, dan kesewenangan rezim. Kondisi sosial yang ditemukan dalam novel juga ditemukan di dalam masyarakat Sudan. Penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan tentang perlawanan masyarakat Sudan terhadap pemerintah yang otoriter. 

The purpose of this study is to reveal the social conditions of Sudanese society contained in the novel al-‘Asyiqu al-Baduwi Karya ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Barakah Sakin using the sociology of literature approach. The social conditions in the novel al-‘Asyiqu al-Baduwi are a description of the social conditions of Sudanese society under the regime of  'Umar al- Bashir. Therefore, this study uses the theory of literary sociology with descriptive analysis method to provide an analysis of the social conditions that exist in the novel and then relate it to the social reality that occurred in Sudan when the regime was in power.

The results of the research on the novel al-‘Asyiqu al-Baduwi by ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Barakah Sakin reveal three social conditions of Sudanese society during the regime of 'Umar al- Basyir in power. The three social conditions include the cruelty of the security forces, rebellion, and the arbitrariness of the regime. The social conditions found in the novel are also found in Sudanese society. This research also reveals the resistance of the Sudanese people against the authoritarian goverment.
